It works as expected and fits fine on my 83 Honda Magna V45, however the lug that bolts down to the hub is extremely brittle and cracks with the slightest torque on the bolt. If you get this cable I would suggest putting some locktite on the bolt and only hand-tightening it.

Fits perfectly on the 1984 Honda Shadow VT500 but it's made out of cheap parts. The plastic that connects the wheel to the cable split in half after screwing it in. The plastic piece also chipped right before replacement when trying to squeeze through a small gap. Made for a frustrating install but we'll see how well it holds up over time with the split. May lead to rusting within the inner cable portion and another replacement necessary.
