The motion sensor can't be adjusted down. The light picks up motions way out over your head but not close up. I like the looks of the light, the built in outlet is great. I also really like the auto dimming. I just wish the motion detector was slightly pointed down to better pick up motions in front of the light.

The light looks great and was easy to install. The dawn to dusk feature works fine, but the motion feature doesn’t seem to work. The illustration of the control knobs do not match the actual knobs on the light, so I have no idea how to set it up. Not worth returning it, but it is frustrating that the instructions don’t match the product.

I bought this light because it has two GFCI outlets built in and it has motion sensors and dusk-to-dawn automatic on/off switching. It meets so many of my needs and it looks great too. If I were to offer one criticism it would be the hardware to mount to the junction box is cumbersome. I ended up going to the hardware store and spending $4 for a universal mounting bracket. In my mind, it was worth that effort but if more versatile hardware came with the light it’d be awesome.I would buy this light again. It’s been a few weeks and I’ve been satisfied since I first powered it up. I bet you’ll like it, too.

I purchased 3 of these. The instructions were very hard to understand. I was not able to get them to work to my satisfaction. The seller followed up after my earlier review and made it right. I was very impressed with them wanting to have a happy customer. I will purchase from them as the need arises.

As much as I like the lamp, there is one situation that was driving me goofy. The way the unit attaches to my home is both good and bad news. There are four screws used to fix the lamp body to a 5” X 6” mounting plate. It’s also in the kit. The screws are #4-40, but only 1/2” long. I could not get such a small and short screw to catch a thread to establish a point that a screwdriver could be used to tighten it. The weight of the lamp, though it isn’t heavy, exerted enough force to keep the screw and mount plate from mating. There just isn’t enough length to get it in there. After a couple days of frustration, a thought crossed by weary thinker; just get a longer screw! One #4-40, X 1 1/4” long should work. And, it did. Once one screw was attached, lining up the other three was doable. Just make sure the longer screws and internal wiring are insulated from each other! Electrical tape wrapped around the GFCI block worked.After mounting the lamp everything worked just as it was supposed to. The GFCI is tripped at the factory, so it’s important to reset, or it will not provide power. The options are easy to adjust and useful. Now the little townhouse has power around front. The build quality is good, and visually it’s definitely an improvement. I bought the oiled bronze, or rubbed brass finish.I had one other thought that may work to help install the lamp also. Using a bar clamp to snug the lamp to the mounting plate may provide enough friction to hold them together for at least one screw to line up with a mounting hole, maybe more.Good luck, though hopefully, someone smarter than me, (I mean who isn’t.) will probably find a more straight forward approach.
