The fit was exact, but I could not turn the deflector, and when I did put enough pressure to turn it the deflected piped up into the vent hole.

I like that the vents themselves have good resistance so the air conditioner and fan speed doesn’t close the vents. It was a problem with my old ones with these new ones. They seem to be poorly made in the in the piece that connects them all together.

I have a 2018 ford expedition and 2 of my vents broke and i ordered these and are very easy to install and you can't tell the difference between this brand and the ford vents.

The OEM parts are designed so that these just twist in and out. unfortunately, these parts don't work that way without making some alterations on the trim. There are two portions of the back side (clamps) that pinch the headliner. Both portions should be made so that the opening is on the right side and the stop is on the left. That way you simply twist it in clockwise. On these parts, one clamp is like that, but then the second is opposite, meaning you can't twist these in, making it a real pain to use. I ended up cutting one of the stops out so that the headliner could enter either side of the clamp
