This is how Amazon will ship this part (see photo). The part box was flattened and the actual exhaust valve part was able to move freely around the padded mail envelope. The exhaust valve is made out of metal and weighs 1.7lbs, so the padded had tears in it from the part banging around inside. Product looks OK, a couple small dings on it. The gasket is ruined. Luckily I bought a separate gasket on the same order.

Used this on a 2002 Ford F-150 Crew Cab King Ranch 4x4 v8 5.4L Worked just like it should. No problems. Purchase a gasket separately, and make sure you clean out the ports. After the install I did not have any insufficient EGR flow code. Purchase OEM when you can for this type of application. Can't go wrong on Motorcraft with your Ford truck engine.

It works.It does not come with a gasket.You will need to buy a new gasket.
