This part supercedes to YH-2060, fixed my issue with the fan not working properly in high. Found 2 pins overheating on the original unit, previously replaced the overheated connector.

The Motorcraft YH-1829 A/C Blower Motor Switch proved to be a perfect fit for my 2014 F150. It installed effortlessly and restored the A/C system to full functionality. The switch operated smoothly, allowing easy control of the blower speed without any issues. Its reliability and OEM-quality construction impressed me, ensuring consistent performance. If you're in need of an A/C blower motor switch, I highly recommend the Motorcraft YH-1829 for its excellent performance and peace of mind.

After years of the fan blowing on high with no control, my fathers 2009 Ford F-150 King Ranch FX4 5.4L V8 with electronic climate control works as designed again! Tried to "re-flow the solder on several of the OEM module main connections as someone suggested might work, but it did not help in this case. The control module is easy to access and replace, just takes minutes. The part/model numbers are a bit confusing for the module though. The numbers on the our OEM module were "9L34-19E624-AC", which appeared to cross to a YH-1827" or a "YH-2060" number depending on what part listing was viewed (even by VIN). The Amazon listing was for a "YH-1829". The plastic bag it comes in does have a stuck-on paper label listing the "YH-1829" number, but the plastic bag ink printing states it is a "YH-2060" with "BL3Z-19E624-B" also listed. The new module in the bag has basically the same OEM number molded into the plastic, which is "9L34-19E624". The new module did resolved the "fan blowing on high with no control" issue, so it appears the M/Ns, 9L34-19E624-AC, 9L34-19E624, BL3Z-19E624-B, YH-1827, YH-1829, and YH-2060 may all be compatible for a range of Ford vehicles which uses one of those numbers in conjunction with a Digital/Electronic Climate Control System suffering from similar control issues. As always, do your own research though! Good Luck!!

I have a 2013 f 150 platinum with dual control and automatic temp .The blower was stuck on high . This switch came in a plain box with a sticker on it ( Motorcraft YH 1829 ) .Seems to be some confusion on what number to use . The switch does not have any markings or name brand on it . This was an easy install and works great .

Blower had been stuck on high for years. Had a separate unrelated issue with the dual-zone climate control and had to have the unit replaced, however this did not fix the blower fan issue. I put this switch in later myself. It was not a 1/10 on the difficulty scale; more like a 3/10. Would have been easier if the light had been better and I had a better angle. I had to install this while working from a curb on an overcast day so I needed a flashlight and some patience. It is not as easy for a curb mechanic as it is for the certified Ford mechanics; they can do this with one hand and both eyes closed. The replacement part is made in Mexico; the original was as well however this part had a slightly different foam gasket while the original was more of a high density rubber gasket. It works perfectly. The part has cooling fins so make sure it's installed and is getting air before you turn it on.

Easy to install and definitely good value. I’ve tried Standard Motor Products PN RU893 and every one of them failed. At first I was told the blower was drawing too much current under load, so I tested the blower and there was nothing wrong with it. Then I was told to replace the blower along with new resistor and same result with the SMP resistor burning out. So I read some reviews about using the factory Motorcraft and BAM that’s all she wrote. After market resistors are garbage. Motorcraft is the way to go.

The Problem - when my wife's truck is running, the blower fan motor is always running, and the speed is never the same. One minute, low, another minute fast. So there is always air blowing in the truck cabin and you cannot change the speed. The display says the fan speed can be controlled by pressing the + or - buttons, but nothing changes. I went to AutoZone and looked for this part. It was made by Duralast, and when I went to put it in, the pins didn't quite match. I had to slightly bend/nudge the pins down because they were too tight to one edge of the housing. The connector fit over, installed back, and turned the truck on...Now I have NO FAN SPEED at all, and no control. Bad part? Install original bad part and get blower back, uncontrolled...same as before. Take Duralast part back. Get a second part (maybe first one was bad). Install...same thing. No motor at all. Install original bad part because need air conditioning. Find this part on Amazon. It is original Ford OEM made in Mexico. Install it...pins are in the right place - no bending necessary. 10 minutes later, blower motor and control work as new. SWEET!!!. The Duralast part was about $75 at Autozone. The part from amazon was $54 and OEM and it worked great.

Blower would stay running even when switched off. Super irritating to have the fan blowing when not needed. Three times the price through the local ford dealership. Did not want to put on an aftermarket part and have to do this job again. Easier if you remove the glove box to install. Worked like a charm. Blower now shuts off when I am not needing the fan.

This item worked perfectly in my 2010 Ford F-150. Heater was stuck in high. But a cheaper no name one on Amazon and it did not work. Returned it. Got this one very quick was more money but it worked instantly. Heat now goes up and down again !! Worth the extra money and cheaper then a dealer repair. Took me literally 3 minutes to replace with a 8mm wrench.

My a/c blower motor fan just stopped working suddenly. I went to "You Tube" to see if others had this problem and how to fix it. It was revealed that the A/C blower fan resistors just die on their own or only operate at the highest speed setting. Well, I bought a "made in china" resistor from e bay at a very cheap price and it lasted 1 day and died. I followed the sage advice of several mechanics and learned a valuable lesson, replace OEM parts with OEM parts. I bought this resistor from Amazon at a very good, competitive price, installed it in under 5 minutes and my trucks A/C, heater, defroster is now working perfectly. If your Fords a/c or defroster blower fan is only working at the highest speeds then you need one of these. Learn from my mistake, only OEM as you get what you pay for!
