This part is the exact same one on my 1995 Ford F-150. That being said, it has the same problem I had with the original which is the plastic base/threads. This was where my a/c system had a large leak on the old switch. The new one works just fine and has no leaks as I was very careful during installation. Be careful when installing this as the threads are easy to damage.
