So most of my pants are length 30 size and these pants run length 32. I returned these pants since the fit has the hip protection too low and the knee protection below the knee caps. Good stuff if you are a fit but short persons this would not provide the adequate protection needed so be careful.

This denim jeans pants has been designed with comfort in mind. The material is a stretch denim fitting close to the body yet doesn’t bind. The sizing is accurate making for a flattering profile and the slight compression holds the CE armor in place. The pants are not particularly warm, but should be great fir summer. Combined with a mesh lining to the knees the quality of the seams and therefore the build gives confidence the pants will hold up.

I sized up from my normal 34 to a 36 because of the lining - just wanted to make sure it wasn't too tight especially when sitting on the bike. However, you don't need to do this - the 36 is a bit loose on me and the waist is VERY stretchy. The calves are a bit form fitting (wouldn't say tight because they are so stretchy). I do like how they fit, even with the slightly larger waist (nothing a belt won't fix). The color is less of the traditional blue jeans color you see in the photo and something close to blue khakis (hard to describe). The washed out areas are less prominent than you see in the photos but I actually like this as they are different than my other motorcycle jeans.They come with CE level 2 rated hip and knee armor, but I replaced the knee ones with something more flexible so they stand out less and the good news is that the knee holder has some sizing flexibility. The jeans also has a reflective area around the waist/seat area and if you roll up the legs, some reflective strips that will show through.Now onto a few of my issues:1) two of the leg strips were not attached well. Because they were partially off, they were scratchy and I just peeled them off as I won't be rolling them up.2) the velcro around the knee armor holders is a bit sharp and can poke your shin. I will readjust those to see if it is better.While these jeans are not EU rated as a A, AA, or AAA jeans, they are similar to the AA jeans I have at least in terms of the lining. The denim itself is a little thinner so I would probably say these are maybe A rated if they got them tested due to the lining.Overall, I do like them. While not rated, the lining does provide extra peace of mind.

Really nice, good quality material, true to size, comes with safety knee and the sides hips. I will order another one in a different color if it goes on sale.
