This cable was perfect for my 1998 Yamaha 650 custom. It was very easy to install, and it works like it's supposed to. Can't complain at all about the price either. I've had it on for a few weeks, and was riding everyday, but weather is getting bad, so I'll post again after I've used it for a bit. Can't complain at all. Great replacement part!! Highly recommend!!

Good cable correct length for a v star 650One thing though is that for some reason when handle bars are all the way to the left seems to pull on cable slightlyI've check made sure nothin was catching and no dont know what's making it to that.Not concerning though
