Install is fairly easy, took about 15min and this item is much better than I thought it would be. Nice screen.

Fits perfect. It did appear to have microscratches on it when I unboxed it.I installed it anyway. After power washing and cleaning with plastic polish and a microfiber cloth it looks much better. I love the look of the bike with the dark shield

Just GREAT and fits like a glove. I have a 2012 Wing and the bad thing is that we have no instructions but all the informations are on Youtube. Info upgrade; After some use, I find this windshield useless since the vent doesn't stay closed. and forces more air toward me. As time goes, this windshield is losing stars. It does look nice, but dark when I enter my garage door, Vent always stay open, forcing air toward my throat, and it is Fall, not a warm wezther. I had to order another VENT yesterday.

The slotted holes were too large for the metal grommets or plates and the plates would slip through. I created gaskets that reduced the size of the holes and the plates fit securely. No problem.

So, I would have given it 2 stars because you can barely touch it before is makes marks on the screen. I took it out of the box and immediately noticed marks on it from the package material. I sent it back, waited another week to receive another one (slightly better) but, none the less damaged. I needed the bike back on the road so I used it. The second pictures shown horizontal marks, that's the packaging marks. However, with my CLEAN hands when I removed it from the package, it left finger print scratches on the shield. Its probably going to be horrible in the bright sun light.YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR?????? Except $140.00 isn't cheap.It did fit well and bolt right on my 2001 GL1800, that's why I gave it 3 stars not 2! I did add a couple drops of blue locktite to the vent bolts because they do not come with locking hardware, and I was afraid they would vibrate off!
