It seems a little thin and like it's probably not the most lubricating or hydrophobic out there but as far as I can tell so far it does what grease should and I am less concerned about getting it onto my skin or it getting into the environment. Think I might switch to white lithium of something though, so long as it doesn't have teflon which is ecologically very not great and seems to be in most bicycle products.
