It is very stable, sturdy and the reason that I bought is that it's compact! Fits my 28 in wide Ikea desk!

I've had another stand-up desk for a while, it had a separate support that could be placed under it once the table was raised, but this one has a sturdy piston system with a release handle. It lifts and lowers easily, and is stable when in the raised position. Good buy, I'd recommend if you are looking for a desktop option.

I didn’t want to get rid of my beautiful desk so a riser was the only option for me. This one is perfect for my needs. Easily lifts and drops. I put my laptop on the top platform and a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse on the lower platform. I ended up buying a monitor mount separate from it which I attach to this riser and both work great together. Very happy with this product.

My desk doesn’t occupy a ton of space, and I love that this is narrow and about as low profile as it gets for a standing desk converter. The keyboard tray does jut out quite a bit when it’s in the lowered position, but a huge improvement over the larger, slightly cheaper option I tried first and returned. This one also feels sturdy and was super easy to put together. If size and space is an issue for you, this might be a good bet.

Went together easily with tool provided. Great springs. Once the keyboard plate is installed the balance to move up and down is very well engineered. Holds well and the material and paint will holdup for a long time.Love the quality and engineering.

I ordered this because I've been working from home for weeks now, and I missed my standing desk at the office. This was the smallest desk-top standing desk I could find. It doesn't take up the entire desk like all the others I looked at, but there's plenty of room for a large monitor, full-size keyboard and mouse, and plenty of other junk. Assembly was easy - just have to attach the keyboard ledge to the rest of the unit. All you need is a Phillips screwdriver. Very happy with it so far. There is a very slight wobble when you put weight on the keyboard ledge, but barely worth complaining about. Otherwise works great.

Well-made, sturdy - it was quite heavy so do not plan on moving it around - easy to use - however I had to return it. Why? If you notice the keyboard/mouse tray is not adjustable nor does it fold out of the way - it is in a fixed position. So when I raised it to stand my computer could be adjusted to the perfect visual height BUT in order to use the keyboard or mouse my arms/hands /shoulders had to be raised to an incorrect position - your shoulders should stay level, your elbows at waist level and hands level or lower. You can not do that with this one. Then when you lower it to sit - once again the keyboard remains fixed - so everything is now elevated above your former sitting at desk typing position including the fact that the keyboard is again too high. Raising my chair to maximum height still fell far short. Some other models have a keyboard that folds away - if you could only lower the keyboard to a comfortable working level for your arms it would be great. But keep using this kind and it looks like you'll be heading to neck strain and carpal tunnel land. Wish these were more practically designed.

It met my expectations and beyond. It is very easy to lift. The compressed air arm does its job. Very good product !

My desk is 30" x 66" so space was a concern. After reading reviews and checking dimensions on lots of these, I decided on this one because the base is 3" shallower than most others. I also chose it because one reviewer stated that they used it without the keyboard tray, which made the size perfect for my small desk.I got it and it took minutes to set it up, mainly because I didn't plan on using the keyboard tray, so it was good to go. I positioned it diagonally on the left corner of my desk, as I felt that left the middle/right of my desk for other tasks. It does overlap my partner's desk by a few inches, but it isn't a problem for her and it is the best angle for me. I used the Velcro strap that they used for shipping to hold my computer on the top, probably not necessary but I felt better safe than sorry since it isn't my computer and I often have students gathered around my desk.It raises and lowers smoothly and easily. No sudden drops or rises. The mechanism does offer a little resistance, which is why it goes up and down without sudden movements. It can be adjusted, but it was perfect for me right out of the box..Initially it was awkward to have the keyboard on my normal desk because it was too low, so I placed it on the top, as it has plenty of space for my large all-in-one and the keyboard and mouse., but that wasn't great either, workable, but still a little awkward and it didn't leave enough space to place the papers I was working from. The keyboard tray is 11" deep, to accommodate the wider, ergonomic keyboards, but I don't use one of those at work so I had my husband cut the tray down to 7-1/2". He did it from the back and had to move the recessed metal screw receivers. He then painted the back black and you can't tell it was modified. It works perfectly now! It took less than an hour.PROS: Sturdy Excellent Quality Looks Great Goes up and down easily and smoothly, easily positions to any height Lots of space to put papers I am typing/reading on the top by the monitor Price: it is reasonably priced, as there was a $20.00 coupon, making it more reasonable The keyboard tray is positioned perfectly no matter what height, doesn't shake when typing When lifted, it leaves more room on my desk. I often lift it and then use the space below to collate and gather paperworkCONS Not really a con if you need it, but the wider keyboard tray made it impossible to fit my narrow deskI am completely happy with this product. I have bursitis and sitting irritates my hip. This product has made working on my computer for long periods pain free. I would (and have} recommended it to others. Everyone who has come into my office loves the look and ease of use. Most plan to purchase one in the near future.

Going to put it on the street for trash pickup. Easy assembly, too easy maybe. My instructions had pictures to screw in keyboard and keyboard holder and that was it. Released the gas lever and it popped right up. But will not lower with using the gas lever or adjust. I also see customers talking about wheels and knobs, and I have nothing like that. Cannot reach Mount-It to even find out if it is missing something. They only do call back and do not answer. Looked great and thought it would be easy like adjusting an office chair, or so my instructions said.Update: My neighbor got it to work. She was familiar with stand-up desk at work. I gave it to her because it was really too big for my house and I use a foot pedal at the computer. so trying to do that standing up would have caused more problems. Really a pretty nice desk after all. You have to pull it towards you as you hold the level in, not push straight down like I was doing.
