I have pasture raised chickens who roam over a couple acres. I always had devastating hawk attacks from November to February. I got my green man and I haven’t had a death by hawk at all! Even when he’s up due to extreme winds (I live in Oklahoma) or weather, they stay pretty far away. One got too close to the property and my army of guineas chased it off. So I love my inflatable man

The blower only has on/off option and the blowers is very strong. You CANNOT adjust the air speed. So the wavy man doesn’t actually wave or move every much. He mainly stays fully inflated. This is of great quality but I can’t do what I want it to do since the air is only high pressure.

So it works well but if the wind blows (or even without the wind) it can cause the dancer to go to the ground...at which point the fan can suck up the dancer...shredded. From an engineering standpoint this could have been fixed in the design phase by placing a small mesh or plastic screen along the large opening around the feet. The dancer might then get sucked against the screen but not up into the fan. In order to prevent his I would recommend placing your small screen around the bottom the fan...get some hardware cloth and cut to size. These dancers are can run $80-100 to well worth it...wish I would have known this sooner.

I bought this little guy to protect my flock of chickens from hawk attacks. The hawks definitely don’t like it! He moves a lot and is very brightly colored. The motor gives off a bit of noise too as an added bonus. Great product.

Works perfectly, exactly as described, but note that the fan is very noisy, OK in outdoor setting but just something to be aware of !

I bought this dancing man to deter crows from eating my blueberries, and it worked great! I did move it around some, but his movements are so random I'm not sure it was necessary. Our bushes are large and overgrown, and some types of netting will become wrapped around bird feet and they die, so it was worth a try. For the first time ever, we harvested a nice crop of berries! It also makes me laugh every time I look out my window! We hooked it up to an Alexa plug and set up a routine so we didn't have to remember to turn it on at dawn and off at dusk, which was ideal. Bonus info: our yard full of deer didn't go near it, either. If you remember to move it regularly, I think it would work as a deer deterrent.

Works as I had hoped. The fan is very loud, for outdoor use only. I have a Cricut vinyl cutter and cut out an iron on transfer of the Georgia Bulldog "G" to personalize mine. It looks great and is holding up fine.
