Most push mower engines have 7/8” or 1” PTO shafts and there are various styles of blade adapters. Some times I have purchased new engines to replace worn out engines. To get the best price sometimes the new engine PTO is different size than the one being replaced. These sleeve adapters are a unique and easy way of making use of the original blade adapter or one of those that I keep in my collection. I’m glad to see that items like this are available.

Cheaper to purchase already made than fabricate myself. Adapted my 7/8" shaft to 1" I.D. pulley perfectly.
