Perfect type of fuse for a compact DIY Power station. Space is at a premium in my case so this was perfect as the last line of defense in my case. No issues so far

Using this as my fuse for my winch on the atv, that way if my winch is stuck I don’t risk melting any wires. Also just makes adding other accessories have a built in 100a fuse.

Very happy and good quality. The red protective cap needs to be stretched to fit, don't be concerned it will work.Wish this would come with an additional 5/16 stainless washer for mounting cable / eyelet. I used washer on top of fuse then eyelet then ANOTHER washer. Just FYI so you can pick some up.

I'm running an inverter off this 250amp fuse.Drawing around 190 amps @ 2.3kw.After less than a minute the fuse is over 100 degrees C.I dare not run it longer as I'm afraid it will catch fire.I think the amount of current running thru the two small metal rings above and below the actual fuse block is too much for it to handle.

It's a post fuse and it works... just like the "Blue Sea System" one but much cheaper. I only needed two but I bought three of them because the fuse holder AND fuse is cheaper than just buying a spare fuse.
