Got the board and missed that it was refurbished. I’ve done that one other time and was burned by it. This time it was the same experience. System unfortunately would only post for a few minutes then boot loop throwing an BIOS error about the memory.Performed all the usual troubleshooting, replacing the RAM sticks, changing slots, loosing the timings, lowering the speed to meet specs 4800MHz, etc.Removed RAM and CPU from the board and followed MSIs guide on updating the BIOS using their BIOS button. One thing to note is that the website provides a manual that says you need to rename the BIOS file Something.ROM? However that would not work. Moved the bios file into the root of the USB using the default name and then let the system update. That worked however the BIOS light never stopped blinking. After letting it run overnight I rebooted the system into BIOS and was able to confirm that the update did take effect. I’ve had two previous builds using MSI and genuinely like their products. This motherboard dosent change my opinion on the company but it does confirm my bias against refurbished.Went to BestBuy and picked up a Gigabyte B650 Eagle board, installed all my components and the system booted right into Windows.The same board at Walmart is $229 so the price is great if it works!This is getting wordy and I’m sorry but a couple final things are that the system would reboot on its own while in the BIOS itself. All the power connectors were seated and I even took the board out to check the backing to ensure I wasn’t shorting somewhere with a loose screw or standoff. I didn’t find anything. CPU R7 7700X and Corsair RAM were both in the qualified vendor hardware list as well.I really wanted this board! :(

Sinceramente compre esta tarjeta sabiendo que me podía pasar esto, pero lo único que me queda es escribir mi experiencia, fue MALA, nunca volveré a comprar artículos reacondicionados, físicamente la tarjeta se ve bien, en ese sentido hasta podría pasar por una nueva, el problema es que no me da imagen y siempre me da alerta de BOOT (arranque) por una razón no deja iniciar, no es por cuestión de los otros componentes me asegure que todo fuera compatible con la tarjeta madre, pero no me da imagen, inclusive intente actualizar la BIOS con una unidad flash y no funciona, al final voy a tener que comprarme otra tarjeta madre, lo barato me salió caro

I’ve researched for MANY countless hours on what I wanted to build and how I wanted it to preform. This board makes it all easy. I game on wifi connection with no issues too! The poor reviews I see on this board seem to highlight poor delivery and or simply not knowing what to do. I used a Ryzen 7 7800X3D and an RTX 4070. Learn to flash the bios and update the drivers, THEN you will be able to utilize all of the great features. Overlocking, boot configs, and diagnostic tools are so easy to use and understand, my 13 y/o cousin knows how access and use them. I’m telling you all. This is a great choice for a mid-priced custom build. I play almost everything at Ultra High and 4k. If you know what you’re doing, this board will not disappoint!

I was skeptical when I saw remanufactured on the description on the motherboard. But whatever, I still gave it a shot. It has performed flawlessly. I like all of the computer monitoring it has. Gpu temp, cpu temp and such. I also liked the ability to speed up the fans on the cpu since the ryzen 7 7700x runs so hot. Overall a great buy.

La placa MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk REACONDICIONADA llego en una caja genérica de MSI, la caja presentaba varios golpes, no se si se golpeo en el trayecto o directamente colocaron esa caja, lo único que faltaba era el manual, pero lo puedes conseguir en internet. Al comenzar a montar todos mis componentes a la placa me di cuenta de que el socket del procesado en la placa venia con pines que parecían estar ligeramente doblados, creí que era la poca luz tenía así que continúe, al terminar con todos los componentes, y encender la PC, la placa me marcaba 2 errores, con el CPU (led ROJO) y la DRAM (led NARANJA), busque en internet como solucionarlo, intente todo, cambiarlos, quitarlos y volverlos a poner, apagar y prender la PC y nada funcionaba a pesar de haber realizado todo correctamente, por lo que decidí devolverla por este error y los pines doblados.A los pocos días llego mi otra placa una “ASUS TUF Gaming B650PLUS WiFi” NUEVA, esa placa me llego muy bien, la instalé de la misma manera que con la B650 Tomahawk y esta vez no tuve ningún problema, todo funciono correctamente y ahora estoy disfrutando de mi nueva PC.Hay muchas personas a las que les va bien comprando componentes renovados, y otra que no, supongo que tuve mala suerte, espero mi comentario les sirva para su toma de decisión. Considero que si esta placa MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk se funciona correctamente es una super compra, desafortunadamente no puedes estar 100% seguro de que te va a funcionar al llegar.Además si vives fuera de USA, te cobran impuesto que al final es muy similar a las otras placas del nivel cuando se encuentran en oferta.

Cumple con lo que tiene, vino con unos pines doblados (me imagino que por culpa de como estaba empaquetado), pero solo se desdoblan y ya, ah, y vino sin manual pero se busca en internet, todo lo demás bien.

Esta es la versión ddr5. El paquete y la descripción del sitio web son ddr4. Cuando recibí la placa base y comencé a instalarla, descubrí que esta es la versión ddr5. Solo puedo volver a comprar la versión ddr4 y solicitar un reembolso. No sé si esto se puede utilizar.

I brought it new from amazon but it wasnt new it was used? I tested the motherboard it working fine, but I shouldnt be paying full price for a used motherboard. Other than that this itx motherboard has everything you would want clear cmos button and bios button it doesnt come with pci 5 but that doesnt mean anything right video cards right dont have it and m,2 speed arent that much of deal breaker
