The MSR is easy to use and compact. It contains everything needed for a long hike. It heats water quickly and weighs very little.

This stove works well. it is so lightweight and the perfect size and weight to take backpacking. I sometimes also use this when you need a designated stove to boil water when camping instead of using the bigger stoves. This heats up water quickly.

Dieses Kocherset ist kompakt, leicht und perfekt für meine Trekkingtouren. Es ist ideal für eine Portion ausgelegt, egal ob man Wasser erhitzt oder Speisen im Topf oder direkt aus der Konserve aufwärmt. Der im Set enthaltene Topf ist optimal für eine einzelne Portion. Wenn man jedoch zu zweit ist und eine größere Dose erwärmen möchte, wäre ein größerer Topf ratsam (OUTDOOR FREAKZ Camping-Kochtopf Set aus Edelstahl).Wasser und Speisen werden sehr schnell erhitzt, was den Kocher besonders effizient macht. Zusätzlich empfehle ich einen Windschutz (z.B. den Generic Camp Stove Tragbarer Faltbarer Aluminium Camping Brenner Windschutz), eine feuerfeste Unterlage (Draper 30309 Asbestfreie Lötmatte, 25 x 25 cm) und einen Standfuß (MSR Universal Canister Stand Camping Accessory) für die Gaskartusche, um die Handhabung noch sicherer und praktischer zu gestalten.Ich kann dieses Kocherset uneingeschränkt empfehlen und würde es jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Very powerful and boiled water in about 2 minutes. I always forget to take off the rubber grip ring and it ends up expanding from the heat and falling down closer to the burner.Great little camp stove that stores into a small container.

Easy to pack and use. Haven't used in a windy environment yet. Hopefully it will last a few seasons. Nice useful kit.

Perfect you need to boil water in three minutes and don’t need on going fire. exceptional boiling water for freeze stride meals, starting at Fire, getting it hot enough to boil water, and then a not leaving a “fire footprint”Packs down small and tight and works in four seasons… Including rain.

I was going back and forth on whether to get the real deal PocketRocket or just a cheap knockoff. I think those cheap stoves have their own merit and place, but in the end I am glad I got this. It just seems and feels more durable and built to last. the small pot it comes with is quite nice as well, nice and small. It can boil just enough water for my wife and I on backpacking trips, and it does it fast. The silicone grip is juuuuuuust insulated enough that its not too hot to grab after boiling water if you are careful.So far its been great! Love itThe fuel isn't contained- important FYI.

Purchased for bicycle camping. Therefor the crazy light weight and minimal packed size is what I needed. The pot is the perfect size to put a small canister of fuel inside with the burner and pot holder under the lid. The included stuff bag will keep the lid down tight. A thin piece of foam or box board will prevent the fuel can from marring the inside surface of the pot. It boils pretty quick. Recommend using a stand under the fuel cannister for stability, which is also light and compact.

Pretty impressed so far. I bought this to fill the gap between the Jetboil Flash and the full size liquid fuel camp stove. It is working out marvelously. For solo camping, or even just day trips, the stove/cook set is hard to beat for pack weight and compact size. The simmer control feature puts it into the whole next level of versatility as a serious, extended trip, camp cooking stove. It’s not quite as fast or efficient for small volume water boiling as the Jetboil, but I’ll make that trade in a heartbeat for the luxury and versatility of the temperature control valve, and the ability to use with any pot or pan. The little pot/cup is decent quality, hard anodized aluminum, and the silicone handle/ring is a nice feature for handling when hot. The included pot handler is minimalist, but actually works well. Just remember to remove the plastic cup/bowl off the bottom of the pot before cooking with it! I forgot and melted mine on the second trip.
