Overall I am very happy with these pants due to purchasing for cooler weather riding. Fit is great and they can be worn comfortably over bulky motocross boots (I have Alpinestar Tech 7 Enduros). Two down sides for me. One ventilation, front vents are high up on the thigh and while sitting down I can not feel air flow. The other is the front fly. It has a flap not a zipper. Not a big deal, especially for the price, but I would prefer a zipper fly. If you are like me and want cool weather high quality pants at an unbeatable price go for it! If you want pants to wear in warm weather 80 +. I would look elsewhere. The pants also go great with the Xplorer jacket which is awesome, it vents really well and can be worn in warmer weather.

Fantastic quality, I will be buying the matching Jacket as well soon. Rocky Mountain ATV is a great company with top notch customer service.Sizing: I am 5' 8" with a 30" inseam and weight 180lbs so I have a small gut. I usually wear a 34 waist, but that is slightly under my stomach. For these pants you will probably want to go up one size as they sit on your actual waist line for things like the hip armour to sign up properly. For me a 34 was to tight sitting down, a 36 was perfect. The regular length of 32 is fine with riding boots. The pant legs have a slight bagginess and you want that! In warmer weather when you open the vents that is how air flows through the pants. Also these are for adventure/adventure touring riders so the legs are designed to let you wear knee bracers under them when you remove the knee pads they come with. And yes they fit over boots, no problems fitting over my Alpinestar Toucan boots.

Pants were a little tight for my husband. The company was great with the return and super fast on getting the pair that was needed. Great pair on pants, heavy duty yet breathable.

Ordered 32w 32 inseam. The waist was right and the length was a little long but not bad. The problem was that they were too baggy. There was a lot of room over the boot even when I closed the tightest snap. It just didn’t look right. Too bad because they seemed like a high quality pant. Had to return them without ever riding with them. I kept the matching jacket though. It fits well.

I would wear a pant size typically of 38/40 length x 30 inseam.. the size 38 MSR pant fits VERY well, and i swear feels almost tailored to fit me . Pants still fit with base and midlayers underneath. They are a bit long, wish they came in short size (30) but with my regular large riding boots, its not too noticableThe pants I could see getting a bit too tight IF i put on a few extra lbs, but the range of motion on these things is EXCELLENT!I'm 5"11 or so, and 245 lbs

I wear a 34 waist pants, the size the 36 waist was WAY TOO TIGHT! The tall was good for leg length I have a 34-36” inseam depending on the pants.
