Wasted time and money trying many, many other belts that claimed to be the exact length and thickness as this OEM. This is OEM MTD that fits a wide range of garden tractors made by MTD. Replacing this belt is not an easy task but is DIY doable if you have the time. Fyi replace the pulleys at the same time. Pulleys are easy to find online $10 -$15 for 2 to 4 pulleys. They are a sealed bearing, made in china part, unfortunately. So simply search the OEM part number. Do Not buy from sleez_bay, trust me. Not worth the frustration. Purchased mine from HD online because they deliver faster than Prime. Replacing the inexpensive pulleys will save you from having a premature belt failure earlier than you'd expect. My craftsman is a little over 12 years old, in pristine condition and still runs like it was brand new. This belt is priced higher than any of the other belts I purchased but this is the only belt that fit perfectly. Hopefully they will have a 20% coupon so I can purchase a spare.

I purchased a replacement belt in May. It installed fine, and worked good for about 2 months (that's only 7-8 times mowing the grass). Next time, the belt snapped and that was the end of it. The previous belt I had lasted for over 5 years. There was definitely something wrong with this belt.

Fit my Huskee tractor perfectly. Had gotten a belf previously from retailer where bought tractor that was supposed to be correct size from manufacturer of tractor, but it was too tight and it was nearly impossible to stop the tractor even when you stood on brakes. This fits perfect and now tractor performs well.

Belt works good (if you put it on right...but that's another story) on my 1998-1999 Troy-Bilt model# B809H garden tractor. Not easy to get on but that's not the belt's fault. Half the mowing seasoning over and no signs of stress or cracks so far. This is the first belt I've bought for it since I just got the mower this spring, so cannot attest to it's longevity. If I remember, I'll post an update at the end of the season on it's condition, but so far, very pleased with it. They're not cheap, so hopefully I can get a few mowing seasons out of it.

I thought I was going to have to buy a new electric clutch, so I bought this and the 0468 hoping it would solve the problem, and it did! I couldn't be happier. The fit was perfect. Always make sure you buy the correct fitting belt. Some belts advertising to fit auto-drive models are thicker and actually cause your mower to start on its own and the brakes won't help. This belt is perfect and works like a charm.
