Good tape. I found it a bit difficult for it to stick to the rim on the first pass. However it stuck great to the tape on the second pass.

Rim tape is rim tape, right?WRONGThis stuff is the best rim tape I’ve used by far. It has just a bit of flex/stretch, so it allows you to press and conform the tape to the inner rim bed. It’s translucent, so you can easily see if the tape is pressed tightly and has good contact with the rim. It’s the only tape I’ll buy from now on, unless I can find something equally as good or better (for a better price).

I'll give Muc-Off's Rim Tape one star because it sealed well, but that's about it... I recently removed my tires, to install a new pair after about eight months of the rim tape being installed and the adhesive residue left behind by the Muff-Off Rim Tape is THE WORST I'VE EVER SEEN. Isopropyl Alcohol won't remove it, so I've had to dive into online forums to see what others have used (It appears either Goo-Gone or WD40 might be the answer). Either way AVOID AT ALL COSTS

This tape worked flawlessly, first try ever. Used on my Trek Marlin 7 Gen 2. Replaced my stock XR2 Comp tires 29x2.2 on Bontrager Connection rims 20mm with Maxxis Minion DHR II 29x2.3 tubeless tires.I removed the stock tires, removed the stock red rim tape and inner tube. Cleaned the inside of the rim with alcohol wipes. Then used the 25mm Muc-off tape once around the rim pulling tension on the tape with one hand and pushing the middle of the tape into the center groove of the rim with the other hand, overlapping at the valve hole.I reinstalled my tire and inflated to 45psi until I heard the tire bead set all around the rim. I let it sit with no leaks, so then I added the tire sealant and I couldn’t be more satisfied.(Do not add tire sealant if you have a leak after the tape install…it must be airtight prior to adding sealant)

El secreto de un buen sistema tubeless radica en sellar correctamente la rueda, y la interfaz con la valvula tubeless. Aunque esta cinta no es de las mas baratas, es de las que mejor calidad y resultado da. Ligeramente elástica, lo suficiente para que al ser aplicada con leve tensión quede montada perfectamente en la hendidura de la rueda sin arrugas. Se adhiere perfectamente a la rueda, y no deja residuo de pegamento al ser retirada. El producto ha sido probado durante mas de 3 años en algunas de mis ruedas sin haber sido cambiado, y funcionando perfectamente. Producto de uso habitual en el taller.

I was having trouble getting a tire to go tubeless with another cheap tape and I put this on top of the cheaper rim tape I already applied and it sealed. So I used mostly cheap rim tape and only a small amount of this so I didn't waste the good tape trying to make the rim circumference bigger and saved it for the end to create a better seal.

Removed my old tape and cleaned and preped my rim properly and this tape worked really well first try. I have not had to retapr my rims since but I am confident that the next time the tape will be just as easy and painless to apply.

Worked great on my 29" MTB wheel. I've used Stan's rim tape for a few prior wheels and find this tape a little more stretchy/flexible and the adhesive is better. As I do on MTB wheels, I wrap it 2x before cutting, just since the wheels get more abuse compared to gravel/CX/road. Highly recommended!

I purchased this tape for road use. It goes on the wheel nicely and has a strong feel. The adhesive is good. I did have to remove and replace the tape on one wheel and the adhesive stayed on the wheel and was a pain in the butt to remove.If you don’t have to remove it, it’s really nice.

I had purchased a cheaper tubeless rim tape but it sealant kept leaking when I tried to install new tires.I bought this tape as a last resort assuming the problem was my technique not the tape.The problem was the cheap tape. The Muc-off tape worked super easily on the first try. Highly recommend it.
