I generally adore Mud Pie products and find them to be well made, perfect for gifting. Relying on my previous positive experiences, I decided to order this cutting board despite the other negative reviews, and I'm sad to say they were all accurate 😢. The board arrived nearly split in two, and one corner of the marble portion was completely broken. There was not nearly enough insulation around time board itself, and it should have been packaged in another larger box to provide additional protection. This would have been the perfect gift in addition to the Mud Pie cheese knives I also purchased, but I'll be returning this cutting board just as soon as I'm done cleaning up all of the crumbs of marble dust that proofed out as I opened the box.

As other reviewers stated, you can see some of the glue between the marble and wood, but I like the board enough to keep it. Does look fragile though, so I will be taking extra care when handling and hand washing. Very Cute! Heavy though!
