I was skeptical about these but once I got them on and found the right head combo (Aquarian Texture Coated single ply batter, Aquarian Classic Clear reso). They make my drums sound absolutely perfect. Perfect overtone control, even the 16” works perfectly. Be careful with them, they are pretty fragile and the plastic trays are prone to forming cracks if you manhandle them. I just put the smallest amount gaff tape on the crack to stabilize them.Another added benefit of the coated head, it hides the control ring. It makes musicians and sound engineers trip out when they hear them and don’t see any tonal control (ie: gels, rings) on the batter heads.“THOSE TOMS SOUND SO GOOD!”“…..I know, I tuned them” 😎

So hard to tune a tom and not have it ringing like crazy... this made life so much easier for a shorter sustain rock kit after I added a few moongels and a Gibraltar SC-4235 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002F71P0/ on the bottom head. And its reusable for when it comes time to change the heads!I'm not a novice when it comes to tuning drums but this definitely makes it a lot more forgiving of a process.

Súper bueno, si no tienes una y busca reducir la resonancia aguda de tus Tom. Lo que no evitará es que quieras seguir ejecutando en la batería.

It’s a good quality item, but for a 12” rack Tom it’s a bit much. It muffs the drum too much, for me anyway. If you like a dull flat tone it’s great. In the 1970’s this was the desired tone and sound. If you are using mics on your kit it’s fine, but without mics the sound is just too muffed for me.

This is the greatest thing since sliced bread so easy to tune your toms it's like cheating! It's wonderful if you love that studio sound this is for you, I bet your love them as I do , it's up to you !
