Did not work in a 1998 Ford Ranger. Once you turned the wipers on they world not turn off.I returned the first one, got a second one.... did the same thing.

Doesn't work as supposed to be. After health issues, I was earlier not able to install the new turn signal switch that also operate the windscreen wipers.Directly after installation (disconnwct the connector from the old switch and plug it into the new switch), the Windscreen wipers couldn't turned off at all.The part is NOT a one-on-one replacement as intended it should have been.At the end, I had to build back in the old original but partially working switch.Not okay and acceptable.The "Amazon check" if the part is compliant to the vehicle is useless...this is the second time it happens. First time was with an faulty working door window switch replacement. Didn't work too as supposed it should have been working.I am truly expecting a response and offer to solve this issue from Amazon.com
