It’s a plain wooden photo board without any cover to protect the pictures. The photos will stick directly to the board for display. It comes with small double sided tape that’s quite strong and helps the pictures stay securely in place. Since it’s just a wooden board with no frame, it’s lightweight and stays firmly on the wall once hung. It’s more like diy photo board

This is a really nice picture display. The actual measurements are 23 inches high and 15 inches wide. It says this in the write up but under product dimensions it says it’s 12 x 12 which is obviously a mistake. The spaces for the pictures are 4 inches high and 3 inches wide. The board is good quality and contains everything you need to mount the pictures and hang the board. You need to screw the hangers into the board. It comes with tiny screws and two hangers. It will probably hang best if you put a wire between the two hangers. I personally would have preferred if it came with the hangers attached but that’s my only concern. The letters, astronaut, planet, rocket and clouds on the top of the board are raised giving it a quality look.
