I bought this for my wife to pull bones from fish fillets, but it has found many other uses in the kitchen. The stainless steel won't corrode, and is easy to clean. It's well made; the tip closes tightly and has not become misaligned over several years of use.

I shove the nose into a peach and pull out the stone as clean as a whistle. Then right into the dishwasher. The built in spring will adjust so the pliers will stay closed for storage.

The rolling hinge isn't stainless and rust. Look elsewhere.

These are solid quality stainless steel pliers, used for freshwater fishing in my own case. They've held up well, are thin enough to get down into even smaller fish if needed, and long enough for bigger fish. Great pliers for the price.
