The frame arrived broken. The door was in two separate pieces. It was cheaply made and note that it is plexiglass/plastic, not real glass. Even though it had a film on it, it still had scratch marks already.

My neighbor has wedding flowers that she wanted to protect. They have other pieces made of acacia wood, and are comfortable with the grain and colors of the wood, so I took a chance. She loves it. I hung it on her wall, this afternoon.The sides and back are real wood. Looks like acacia (but I know there are a hundred similar species in the western pacific islands, and I didn't run genetic tests). The finish looks like linseed oil or tung oil. Interior depth is just shy of 4", but it is enough for her flowers.

This is a sturdy shadow box. The lock works perfectly. Hardware comes with if you want to hang it up. I used it to make a shadow box memorial for my dog who passed. Everything about the box is exactly as described. The acrylic had plastic to protect it during shipping.
