I’m going to keep it because it’s a good size and shape for what I intend to use it for. But I will sand and use something like tongue oil to smooth out the surface. I prefer a more finished look. I’d have given it a higher rating for the solid workmanship, but I know there’s some work I’ll have to do to make it in to what I want. As it is I think it’s too expensive for what you get.

These boxes are charming and dark brown just like I wanted. Some of these photos here make them look rather light brown but they're not their dark brown. They really help anyone attempting a country or Barn type decor. I am enjoying them I use them in several different places with different things in them. They help me to relax when I see them. Nobody paid me for my review and nobody gave me any products for my review. Go forth and be nice today.

The box was actually incredibly sturdy and cute and even slightly bigger than I pictured! I used the box to make gift “baskets” as a thank you for our shower hosts and they worked perfectly. I even painted monogrammed letters on them and it really elevated the look. Highly recommend these boxes!

Not only does this look nice, but it is perfect for storing & carrying candles, etc. I put it in our main bathroom to corral brushes, combs, cups, etc., plus a decorative item. Well made and looks nice. Got a 2nd one for daughter-in-law, who just added ship lap boards to a living room wall and she loved it.

I am using this crate to hold favors for a party. It is a great size and quality and am happy with the purchase. I went to an arts and crafts store before purchasing to see if I could find anything comparable and nothing came close in price or look. This is a great quality piece and looks just like the photo.
