This is basically a thick balloon with a cute little crochet monkey. I’ve seen no lessening of ripeness of my bananas. Def not worth the $$

It is hard to put on more than 2 bananas. It’s made of rubber and seams to be hard to stretch over the tops. It is really cute though and fun to use.

The monkey atop the bananas makes my every morning. I got both sizes and have used both. They're not too hard to put on, and I even have a hard time with my hands, including carpal tunnel and osteoarthritis. I'm VERY particular about my bananas, basically eating them within 2 days past crispy green. I've gotten 1-2 extra bananas by using the nana hat. I'm still a newbie so I may be able to get more as I get better at it. If you're thinking of giving it as a gift, DO! It comes in a cute little clear envelope so you could give it by itself or tuck it into a gift bag or basket. Love supporting a Shark Tank business, too.

Once upon a time, there was a banana named Benny. Benny was just like any other banana, except for one thing: he loved to wear a funny little hat. This hat was red and had a yellow feather on top, and Benny thought it made him look quite dashing.Every day, Benny would spend hours choosing just the right hat to wear. Some days, he would wear a top hat that was as tall as he was. Other days, he would wear a bowler hat that was so small it looked like it was sitting on his stem. But no matter what hat he wore, Benny was always the life of the fruit bowl.One day, Benny was feeling particularly adventurous and decided to leave the fruit bowl and go on a journey. As he traveled, he met all sorts of fruits and vegetables, and they were all amazed by his funny little hat. Some asked to try it on, but Benny politely declined, saying that the hat was a part of who he was.Finally, Benny came to a city filled with people. As he made his way through the streets, he was greeted by cheers and applause. Children pointed and laughed, and adults couldn't help but smile. Benny was having the time of his life!As he reached the center of the city, Benny was approached by a group of performers. They were putting on a show and were looking for a special act to close the show. Benny was just the banana they were looking for!So, Benny climbed up on stage and put on a performance that the audience would never forget. He danced and twirled, and his hat bounced up and down. Everywhere he went, people would ask to take pictures with him and hear the story of how he came to wear such a silly hat. And Benny was always happy to oblige, because he knew that his hat brought joy to everyone he met.From that day forward, Benny lived a happy life, always wearing his funny little hat with pride. I was so excited to try this and I'm unfortunately very disappointed. Firstly, the silicone is VERY tight and you have to stretch it a lot for it to fit over the stems of the bananas. The first time I did it, the bananas did not last longer than usual. I really didn't see any difference.The second time I tried putting it over the bananas the silicone ripped. So so disappointing considering the price.Definitely looks cute, I just wish it worked and didn't break so quickly!

Cute but not functional. Hard to get over group of bananas. Really didn't deter browning of the bananas. The only part that stayed green longer was the part that the silicone piece was touching. Silicone piece split after very minimal use (I used 1 time every 2-4 weeks). Spoke to company and they told me they only have a 30 day warranty and said (and I quote) the silicone piece "will need to be replaced every 1-3 months depending upon use." Will not be purchasing again.
