I love this enclosure! This is my first jumping spider and I read that they like taller enclosures. There is plenty of space above the door for my little dude to make webs and hammocks without me disturbing them when I open it. He spends most of his time at the top but will climb down when I must the bottom for a drink.I love how clear it is and easy to look through. I used a few of the air holes to attach handing things with embroidery floss (see pictures). It's very sturdy and well made. Comes preassembled and so far everything is holding up.I'd say it's fairly easy to clean but with the way I put things in for decorating, it doesn't leave much room for my hand but I have a feeling that's the case for most enclosures.

I placed this order on a whim with very low expectations because I had unexpectedly gained a 1.5in eight-legged pal with specific housing needs and wanted a temporary enclosure that would meet the needs of an Avicularia species while I shopped around for something "better-suited" for me. I have been using this enclosure for 3-4 months now and I think this temp Avic setup has become this spider's semi-permanent home (until he outgrows it and needs something bigger in a couple years). The acrylic of this enclosure is much thicker than I thought it would be making the enclosure quite sturdy, especially given its height. Additionally, the top vents and cross vents are literal perfection for a tropical arboreal species that requires lots of airflow, as their native habitat are the windy tree tops of the Amazon; so the abundant ventilation of this enclosure allow for the just-right juxtaposition of a humid-ish bottom thick bottom layer of substrate that evaporates up into the mid-section, and creates a breezy and dry top section. For this price and speed of shipping, I'm pleasantly quite surprised with how great this enclosure is. Absolutely purchasing more for some of my other arboreal tarantulas.

I have a juvenile arboreal tarantula and this enclosure is perfect for her! Once she’s bigger I’ll have to move her but for now it fits our purposes great- easy to feed! A little difficult to clean but worth it. Very sturdy and functional!

I love the security of the door magnetic and it's ample enough space for my critter.

I bought this cylinder enclosure on a whim and just do yourself a favor and buy it! This thing is awesome! I’m currently housing 3 baby mourning geckos and it’s the perfect size for teeny tiny reptiles. No cracks, breaks, everything lines up perfectly on the door/hinge, door magnet is very strong for how tiny it is, crystal clear acrylic, no scratches. This thing was packaged fantastically! I love it so much I plan on buying more for terrarium projects. 5 stars all the way

Scratched right off the bat in the front too while trying to add branches before I even finished setting up enclosure so be careful. Other than that it's exactly what I wanted, bigger than expected, and the perfect and most beautiful mantis enclosure for my ghost mantis. Def adding more friends for him with how much room he got now!

I use these for my arboreal tarantulas and they love them. I do add some additional air holes on the back part of it because that's where my avics tend to hang out but it has ample ventilation without me doing that. They're very sturdy and well constructed

After deciding to keep a tan jumping spider I began looking for an enclosure. I immediately gravitated to this item because it is one of the tallest I'd seen (12") and had spectacular features described in other reviews. In particular, the door has a magnetic latch that is foolproof if you're concerned about escape. The door by itself is worth the buy. The mechanism is smooth and foolproof. For an arboreal spider, finding tall driftwood pieces that would fit through the door was not too challenging, and the spider is adjusting very well to the new environs. A criticism of other enclosures is that if the opening is too near the top of the unit (for a spider at least) and that you will wreck its webbing every single time you open the container. There is no problem with that occurring with this item. There are 3"+ above the door frame with nothing but minute air holes around the entire surface and top. There is ample room to add substrate and plants or other items with at least 4" below the bottom of the door frame. Since it is tall and narrow (6" x 6" round) I'm finding ways to maneuver inside and not disturb the driftwood I've placed inside. I highly recommend this enclosure for those who are new to critter keeping. Make sure to research your creature's habitat requirements before purchasing an enclosure.
