This product seems good, but there are some things you need to know. This is ONLY a plastic insert for your EXISTING disposal unit. It does not come with instructions, and the instructions on Nantucket's site are incomplete. DO NOT remove your garbage disposal. Remove the baffle, then cram this down into the drain. Warning, the baffle won't fit in the drain once you do, because the 3.5" opening is now about 3.25". It comes with a washer/seal, but the instructions don't show where it goes. I had to physically cut down the baffle to get it back into the drain. Also, because this is an insert, the drain will sit a little proud, .06", so some water remains in the bottom of your sink.On the positive side, it is plastic so there is no paint to chip off. It is the only solution I have found that is like this. I installed the Nantucket Sinks Basket Strainer Kitchen Drain For Granite Composite Sinks - Matte Black, 3.5KD-GCMB on the non-disposal side, and it has been great. These two will not chip or peal. I give the sink drain 4.5 stars.
