Fit onto the axle as it should. This is for the inside you will also need the outside seal that goes on the outside of the axle between the bearing assembly and the knuckle on the axle.

Typical high quality National Seal at a great price. Used these for the inner axle dust seal on my 2001 F-250 Super Duty. Fitment and quality was great and this was the best price I found.

Good fit. Looks like a quality seal. For reference, these seals keep contaminants out of the alxe tubes. Install requires removal of the axle ahafts as they mount behind the axle steering u-joint. These are a good idea to replace when installing unit bearings. If your truck is over a few years old, yours are probably bad.

put this on my 1999 f250 and 2004 f350. works as stated. this is a wear item. after 80k miles the factory ones were shot. when you do ball joints replace this seal. this is the seal that closes off the axle tubes.

These were replaced on a 2003 Ford superduty during a ball joint replacement. These are almost always split and broke on trucks. Basically these just keep dirt and water out of the axle tubes. No special tools are needed to install. Just pry off the old one clean up the axle and tap it on with a hammer. Clean out your axle tube and apply grease around the outside of the seal and install the axle.
