Crank hub for my no-harmonic-balancer 60's Chevy 283 had a ring gouged out where the timing cover gasket made extended contact with the crank hub. This sleeve went on very smoothly via the included applicator, and fixed the problem completely. It is thin enough that I didn't have to get a different sized timing cover gasket.

Very very easy to install and honestly very cheap and practical.Either I had to spend $60 for a new harmonic balancer or pay $ less than $10 to achieve the same outcome.I would have bought this again before buying the harmonic balancer.
