I'm happy with it, but I do wish I'd bought the larger size. I roll off the edges of the 36" glass quite often.

Advertised as shatter proof, but I was sitting there working when out of nowhere it EXPOLDED. Amazon won’t help because it’s out of the return window, and the manufacturer is impossible to contact. To the person who left a review thinking this happened to them because of their weight, please don’t think that. I barely weigh 120 lbs and this happened to me too. This is a faulty product!!

I was a little worried about having a glass mat. Having glass under me made me feel uncomfortable as I was constantly worried that it would break under my weight (230lbs), but I've been rolling around on it for months now and it's held up wonderfully! Also, my paranoia has gone away as I've began to trust it more. I tried several of the "unbreakable" plastic mats, but I'm sure you can guess what happened. I went with the darker version and it looks great in the room. It's also really easy to clean. I use the foaming glass cleaner and it works great. I highly recommend this mat!

I'm a 260lb guy (nowhere near the 1000lbs it can handle) so I was a little nervous just walking on it, afraid it would break. Those fears were quickly put to rest after walking on it quite a few times then after adding my office chair. It holds up great. This thing is so durable, smooth and comfortable and it works great for really thick carpet like mine. So pleased I was finally able to trash those vinyl chair mats that kept breaking under my chair wheels.

I looked at quite a few options for my new desk area to protect my medium pile carpet. The only spot I had in the house for an office area was small, so I needed to find office furniture that fit the space and didn't overwhelm.I found a small corner desk that was just perfect, but I needed to protect the carpet from my roller chair!I looked at plastic (since I was sure that was what was in my price range). But, I just couldn't get over the fact that plastic may only last a year or two before splitting or cracking.I found this glass option for only $5 more than a highly rated plastic option. I just couldn't pass it up!It came in the perfect small size of 36x36.Came very well packaged... Felt bad for the delivery driver because it was pretty heavy. Was in perfect condition!Installed and have used it for several weeks now.It does travel on my medium pile carpet, so I'm trying to find a solution to keep that from happening.BUT, I love the quality and feel. It will last far longer than a plastic option.Only negative I could mention would be that it does tend to smudge because my kids and I both run around in bare feet. But, small complaint in the scheme of things.Would buy it again if I needed another one.

The package arrived in great shape. It was protected with wooden corners and shock absorbing rubber corners to protect it but the outside package was in very good shape. It is smooth and my chair rolls well on it. I was grateful that the delivery man did put it just inside my door. I had no idea how heavy it would be. I ended up bringing it into the house by sitting it up and turning it side over side until I could get it in a place to open the packaging. I would certainly recommend you unbox it as close to its location of use as possible. In my case, I had to unbox in an adjoining room and gently move it into the office. For my needs, the size fit the area that I use very well. I actually use it at two desks and it was wide enough to allow me to move from one adjacent desk to the other easily. I was pleased with the 1/4" thickness. I was concerned it might be too little but I think it is perfect.

I have plush carpet in the bedroom and was having issues with my rolling desk chair. Took a gamble on this and it's amazing. Chair glides smoothly and the mat looks sleek and elegant. Would highly recommend! Very satisfied with purchase. I was nervous about sitting on glass, but it's super sturdy and comfortable.
