Body stretching has become a common practice, particularly in earlobes. The term ""gauges"" often refers to the size of the opening and jewelry.
To keep your widened ear piercings clean (and free from infection), you must perform routine cleaning of jewelry.
Double Flared Ear Plugs are often known as ""Saddle plugs"" and have a slightly larger lip on the back and front of the plug than the middle. The Actual Gauge Size is Taken at the Center of the Plug or Tunnel.
Please be aware that lips are usually one size larger than the gauge size (middle of the plug). For example, if you order 00G (10mm) plugs, the lip will be 12mm.
With a flared Lip, You are Far Less Likely to Have Your Plugs Fall Out and Go Missing.

OK, so I’m kind of annoyed about this. I ordered half inches and that’s the size that it said. When I received the item, I tried to clean them and put them on however, they would not go in. The gauge was just a little wider than the circumference of my ear, and the other gauges I have are indeed, half inch. I thought since these were flares, I just needed to stretch my ears a little bit so I bought some ear weights to try and accommodate these gauges but no, after stretching my ears for a couple of weeks. They are still too big. So now I’m sure I cannot return these and I’m out the money so I’m really annoyed and upset, because not only am I out the money for these, but I’m also out the money for that your weights that I unnecessarily purchased. They are very pretty (I think the agate is dyed, however), but apparently you can’t guarantee that you’ll get the right size.

These are what I wear daily when I don’t want anything to heavy in my ears. Perfect little plugs and size was spot on

These are true to size and easy to wear. Most don’t seem to be ‘natural’ stone - due to dying or synthetic fabrication - but they look and feel good in the ear. I love them.

This is the second time I’ve ordered this set (after sizing up) and I’m still impressed. The sizes are true with a comfortable flare, and the “stones” look authentic.

Nice selection, love the shape and weight of these plugs. Flares are a little big (which I prefer) so if you’re new to a size they might be a bit difficult to get in. Minus one star because the tigers eye plugs were too dark and didn’t really have a flash. But that’s the nature of stone— lots of variance. 8/10 recommend!

I’m surprised how nice these are for the price. I used to pay upwards of $40 for a decent pair of stone plugs from tattoo shops. Each pair is really well made, and good weight and quality.
