The Ultra Breathable Mattress Pad maximizes airflow around the baby, which keeps baby cool and dry for a more comfortable sleep. The pad provides air circulation without the hygiene risks of non-waterproof breathable mattresses to help baby breathe safe. Machine wash and dry.
Organic Cotton Waterproof Fabric & Filling
Luxurious organic cotton fabric with easy-to-clean polyethylene waterproof surface (so pure it meets food contact standards). Provides a stain resistant waterproof mattress cover. Also functions as a dust mite/bed bug barrier - no need for an additional dust mite encasing. Naturepedic uses only U.S. grown and certified organic cotton as filling for its mattresses and buys directly from USDA certified sources. This increases purity, organic reliability and support for U.S. farmers.
Firm Comfortable Support
Our patented wavesupport technology, made from pure food-grade polyethylene, provides excellent support and durability that rivals innersprings and premium foams. The wave structure achieves incredible strength with less material, offering an ultra lightweight design with increased structural stability as compared to conventional foams. It is both firm and comfortable, with strong side, center and corner support. NO polyurethane foam!
GOTS Certified
Unlike crib mattresses that contain polyurethane foam and/or vinyl, Naturepedic helps you avoid these materials and other unnecessary additives. Improve the indoor air quality of your nursery and reduce chemical exposure by eliminating these chemicals in the first place. The crib mattress is certified organic to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). This ensures that your crib mattress meets a healthy non-toxic standard and is truly organic!

After extensive research, we went for this mattress, and we are so pleased that we did. It is thick and substantial feeling and looking - visually much better quality than others we had seen in the baby stores. My son starting constantly rolling onto his stomach at just 2.5 months but he couldn't roll back. He is in the 90th percentile for height so our pediatrician said that he needed to be out of his bassinet and into his crib. Seeing him sleep face down (and when he flipped him back over he would simply roll back onto his stomach, awake or asleep) was scary at first but knowing that he could breath through his mattress was an enormous comfort. Buying everything you need for a new baby is expensive and daunting - the mattress is not where you want to cut corners - get this one, trust me when you wake up at 3am to check on your baby and they have planted themselves face down, you'll be glad you did!

Soft, comfortable, safe, and I love that it is breathable and washable and also made in the USA. I hemmed and hawed over crib mattresses, and decided to buy a cheap IKEA crib and go for a fancy non-toxic mattress. So far we have been very pleased with it. I hope to get lots of use out of it, next as a toddler bed, maybe a future baby, and then resell.

We’ve had this mattress since mid November. It’s not a bad mattress at all...however, for the price point, I’m not blown away. It feels like just about every other toddler mattress out there. The toddler side is not much softer than the infant side and we ended up having to get a mattress topper anyway. I would never recommend spending this amount of money on a crib/toddler mattress.

We just started using the mattress. We switched from a sealy mattress that was way too soft for our baby and would sink when we would lay him down. It's only been a couple of days but so far we like it. It is very firm and it has two sides: Infant and toddler. I like the quilted cover that it comes with. The material is very soft.

We got this and it was made of extremely hard material. Not what I expected and didn’t seem like it was something you would want to sleep on. We went with a softer less expensive organic option.

I love that this mattress for all the listed features i.e. organic, quality, etc. etc. but mostly i loved the fact that it comes with a BREATHABLE quality mattress cover. Put my mind at ease with any suffocation concerns and that was most important.
