I used the measurements it suggested but I could have sized down, probably because of how stretchy this waist trainer is. I had a baby about 2 1/2 months ago and I can fit in a medium on the smallest clasp. You can still move around with the waist trainer on so it’s very flexible. Down side is, you’ll have back rolls over the top if you aren’t already skinny mini

I like the flexibility and breathability of this trainer. Based on experience I didn't follow the size chart as I need high compression for post-op ab lipo. First got the S then returned for XS, waist is 34", hips 41". The XS wasn't too tight, I could still breathe and sit comfortably, and use it on top of my 1st stage fajas as they're now looser 6 weeks post-op. I took out 1 star because it tends to ride up and I have to keep pulling it down to cover my lower ab. I have to also adjust the boning to keep jabbing under my boobs but that goes for most waist trainers with boning.

Literally just got it!! Im 8 weeks postpartum from abdominal hysterectomy/ c-section. I am 5'3" and 196lb.(eeekkkk) I got a XL. I was worried at first that it wouldnt fit but man its got some stretch! Lol it is so comfortable and immediatley corrected my posture and releived my back pain. I hope I didnt wait too long to get it and cant wait to wear it under my cloths for a little extra confidence boost.

I wanted something I could use post partum to help give core support. This item was reasonably priced so I decided to try it. I found the fabric really soft, and I liked the 3 rows of hooks and eyes so I could tighten it as my waist reduced. I found it very comfortable to wear around the house and to do housework in. The only negative for me was when I would sit down the 'flexible steel bones' would dig into my upper rib area uncomfortably. But, id expect this would be similar with most waist trainers and perhaps depends somewhat on torso length and how high or low the trainer fits or is worn individually. Id recommend the product, and felt it was a great purchase for the money I spent on it.
