Great, strong and easy to adjust tripod!I finally switched from cheap plastic tripod to this and oh my! I don't have to worry about my camera falling to the ground :DI have been using it for over a year and I have no issues whatsoever. For this price I couldn't ask for more.Well - maybe one thing - I wish it could go lower - like if there was an option to spread the legs wider and unlatch the connector in between, but not many tripods do that, so in these cases I just use an apple box and a sandbag.Anyway! I highly recommend it if you are still waiting to upgrade to a proper tripod!

So far this tripod is performing admirably. It's a very sturdy, but not really heavy and the action of extending and shortening legs is very smooth

スライドでの上下が楽でスムーズです。全体に使いやすいです。欲を言えば重いな、それは仕方ないことですね。カメラで大事なのはブレない、それと安定感ですから。夜間撮影に購入、望遠も使うので理想の製品でした。

Solid built heavy duty tripod, if you need it for video work it will likely serve you well... but for someone with a Fujifilm XT20 its way overkill. So, I returned it.

After watching several videos yesterday about all the features when it arrived today it was like I knew all about it! Well made, easy to operate. Very sturdy. The fluid head is great. Makes using manual focus much easier. Not quite perfect. After moving to a new view and letting go of the handle it moves a bit more. Depressing the shutter button causes movement. Keeping the other hand on the handle steadies it some, but will need to use the timer. Well worth the money. Now, if will clear up to the east tonight I'll get some shots of Jupiter which is why I got this!

I already love this tripod because of how amazingly smooth it is, this is almost exactly what I wanted. It has a very sturdy build and is great for anyone who is looking to film video with a stable and smooth tripod. I wasn't very interested in the QR plate function but it does seem to be pretty nice and easy to use, although it does loosen up a little too easily in my opinion. It's great that there's a tiny knob on the front to stop the plate from falling forwards just in case. I also thought it was cool that there's an allen wrench hidden under the plate mount, I hadn't really read the manual or anything so that was a nice surprise. It's a little tedious getting the legs to fully extend but the trick is to pull both sides out and have a finger ready over the flap so that you can close it once it's there. The biggest issue with it for me personally is that the head seems to have this like auto-leveling thing whenever you have the tilt loose on the camera and you let it go. My thoughts are that maybe it's meant to hold your camera in place so that it doesn't fall forward and cause damage to your camera, but my camera is pretty light and I won't be using too much stuff on it so it's constantly just pushing it up unless I tighten the tilt all the way. The pan stays smooth however, whether you lock that up or not, but I wanted to be able to easily move up and down as well. I guess it's not too big of a deal in the end since it is helping me keep my equipment safe, buf I wish it would at least be a little weaker instead of springing right back up.For the value, all things considered, I would give this a 4.6. I'm mostly taking points off because of the legs

I purchased this tripod for my studio, mainly for product photography. Before that, I was using a travel tripod which served the purpose, but I was ready for something more appropriate. Offered at 30% off and $100, this was a steal. So much so, I opted for the tripod dolly to provide additional mobility. I immediately put it into service and could tell from the start that this purchase was going to reap long-term dividends. The unit is extremely well made. Sturdy, but not too heavy. Again, perfect for studio work for both photography and videography. Operation is smooth, the legs can adjusted quickly and securely. The gimbal is super smooth and precise. While I got it primarily for photography, I can tell that it will come into its own as I increase my development of videos in 2024.At just a tad over $100, I would encourage anyone needing a sturdy tripod beyond the your typical travel units to get it while it’s hot!

I'm a broadcasting teacher and when I took over we had $50 DSLR tripods being used for $1500 camcorders. We had one Magnus VT-4000, so basically I only let the kids ever use that to shoot. But at $200 each and how difficult it is to get funding, that seemed like it was going to be our situation for awhile. Then I caught one of these Neewer tripods on sale for $100 and figured I could spare $100 and see how it goes. So far I'm really liking it. We haven't used and abused it too much but it seems quite sturdy. I like that it comes in a soft case, which makes it easier for the kids to check it out and carry it around in addition to the camera and audio cases. And I really like the tilted quick release capability of the plate. So I bought another one at the $100 price point.Hopefully they hold up well.

I thought my previous $85 tripod was good but when I recently started recording sports, I realized how horrible it was when it comes to tilting and panning. I immediately started looking for fluid head tripods. So many to choose from but tried this particular tripod despite the handful of reviews. I knew NEEWER made pretty good products so I took a chance and glad I did.MY PROS: (I have plenty)-Lightweight yet premium feel (at first use, it felt like a premium product, solid and well constructed)-Very sturdy (I have total confidence while my camcorder is on this tripod, well planted on the ground)-Excellent panning and tilt motion with no vibrations especially zoomed in-Quick release mount-Option for 1/4 or 3/8 mounting screw-Removable handle-Bubble level-Carrying case w/should strap-Awesome price for what you getMy CONS:-I really can't think of any, only time will tell. This tripod checks off all the boxes of my needFor the price, you really can't beat what you get with this tripod. I highly recommend it!
