I like them!!! They're sturdy; drunk guests at weddings would really have to try hard to knock them over. They're tall enough to illuminate large halls. So far, I've used them with a softbox and video light, and I like it.

I have been a professional full time photographer for 15 years and have used a lot of light stands. I like these because the legs compact in 2 ways. One makes them wider and sturdy for top heavy light boxes and they also compacts into a narrow stance that makes them safe for a lot of foot traffic and I don’t have to worry that people will trip over them in dark wedding venues. I wish they were lighter but I think that would make them less sturdy.

Neewer continues to fill a gap that budget conscious and new photographers like myself appreciate. Neewer has quality products and these light stands are more of what I have come to expect; quality products at mid tier prices. These stands are heavy duty, professional quality light stands that will help me and my new photography business. I have purchased other light stands and can see a huge difference in quality with Neewer compared with others. Highly recommend these light stands, the load capacity is 20 pounds, even higher than some of the more expensive brands. Great value for money.

Neewer, did it again. This is one of the great products it is sturdy lightweight and the price is right. I noticed that they make a lot of products and they definitely got my attention on these light stands for the price. I want to make a note to let people know that I brought this like new on Amazon. And Amazon did not ship me the sandbags I reached out to Neewer, they didn't just send me sandbags they sent me for them and it originally only came with two. Customer service was top-notch thanks a lot
