Good for the price and accessories included. Only down side is the cable included cannot connect to a mixer and got to spent another 10 bucks to set it up.

Please let me preface this by saying I spent 20 years in radio and even built a 100,000 watt FM station from the ground up. For the last 10 years, I've been a freelance voiceover talent, and my clients include Verizon, Vice Grips, and the University of Notre Dame, so you can safely say I know what good audio is supposed to sound like.I bought one of these in preparation for a seminar I'll be delivering on audio quality. I did a two channel comparison recording using my regular studio mic and the Neweer NW-800 at the same time. The result? The Neweer sounds like something recorded over the telephone. There's no bass, and a high noise level It's genuinely awful. Yes, it picks up audio, but that's about it. I will definitely return it.I just don't understand why there are so many positive reviews for this mic. I guess it's because it will indeed allow you to make a recording, and it's only $29.99. The nicest things I can say about it are that the black and gold metal combination looks great, it's all packed very well, and the included round pop filter is pretty nice.If you're looking for a cheap mike, get an MXL-990. It's about $70 here on Amazon for a new one. You'll spend more, but it's a giant leap up in sound quality.

So i ordered this Microphone after looking at a few reviews on YouTube, seems like people there had mixed feelings about it, and those people were seemingly using USB audio adapters that have a small amount of phantom power.. However i have a full audio interface that has +48 Phantom power, running it on that brings the best out of the cheap microphone by a mile, anything like a USB adapter or even using the supplied XLR to 3.5mm cable is going to cause you grief, quality loss and a headache in general. I recommend an audio interface and proper balanced XLR cable. So onto audio, the Microphone's quality for me is excellent for the money to be honest. It lacks a little on the low end and doesn't have much 'warmth' to it but for podcasting, voiceovers and general chatting to friends it's perfect. I'm not recording instruments with this so i'm not looking for incredible quality all throughout the range but it certainly is workable with a bit of EQ'ing. But no artifacting or unwanted noise on the mic when i have it plugged into my audio interface, it's clear, concise and does the job for basic voice work such as YouTube video etc.The rest of the kit in this bundle is also equally impressive for the money, if the microphone doesn't do anything for you then it's certainly worth the money for a boom arm, a pop filter and a shock mount if nothing else! The boom arm has a chunky base to attach to your desk, with minimal wiggle room for the boom arm itself, also allows 360 rotation. The shock mount is nice and easy to use although it's probably not the best shock mount you can get, it provides some protection from knocks. Finally the pop filter is just a normal pop filter, i hate them anyway as they are so cumberson and instead use the wind shield that came with the microphone

I checked out reviews of this mic on YouTube before buying it and despite hearing recordings of it sounding fairly clean, I still didn't have high hopes. For a $30 bundle of a mic, pop filter and stand, this is an incredible value, definitely get more than what you pay for with this. When price is considered, I have to give this 5 stars because the value prospect makes up for the fact that it doesn't sound like a $200 mic.The stand isn't the greatest quality, but I haven't had any real issues with it. Pop filter is pretty standard quality. Shock mount works as it should. The mic isn't the most high quality, but for recording voice overs I think it's fine. I've watched videos of people also using to recording singers and miking a guitar amp and it was acceptable enough for somebody on a tight budget. Not something you'd see in a professional studio obviously, but you shouldn't be expecting that given the price.Hook it up to a real audio interface and you'll probably get better results. I use a Scarlett 2i2.

For years I had been using headsets for gaming and other VoIP applications. I was never really happy with the quality of the headset mic or sound as I listen to and play music pretty often, but i didn't want to mess around with having a stand alone microphone. Boy was that a mistake. I am so glad I switched. This mic is a bargain. For the price you get a very very good microphone. Sound quality is amazing for the price. The build quality was frankly surprising for something so inexpensive. The sound quality is better than anything I have ever used. A word of warning however. Getting a phantom power supply is a must in my opinion to utilize the mic to its full potential. There are plenty of options here on amazon one even made by neewer. Personally I paired this mic with a Behringer U-phoria UM2 audio interface so that I could have phantom power for my mic and a couple of inputs/outputs for my headphones and guitar. I cannot be happier. The mic stand is of decent quality my only gripe is its a little stiff I had to adjust some nuts aside from that great item.

First, YOU MUST HAVE PHANTOM POWER. It in the description a few times but unless your interface has 48v power to the mic its just not gonna work well. That said, hooking it up to my Behringer UMC202HD interface was a breeze and the sound quality it fantastic. Input levels are nice and loud and the sound it crisp and clean. The arm works well as long as your at least moderately careful with it and I did not have any issue with the arm holding the weight of the mic or re-positioning it.The pop filter and wind filter are added bonuses and either one works well. I prefer the foam wind cover.. I guess I just not that hard with my P's.The isolation mount fits well and hold the mic firmly in place. Just remember to use the two levers to open the holder.. just don't jam the mic into the mount. For under $30 its a great deal for beginner/intermediate use.

Bought this because i did not want to use a headset while gaming. It works without a 48v phantom power, it comes with an xlr to mic jack so it's basically plug and play. The stand however is a bit flimsy and can't take much weight but it holds the mic up just fineThe raw sound without a phantom power is not great, but it gets the work done for gaming and does not annoy your friends with echos. However this is the feedback using "Discord" voice chat app.Through GTA V on pc taking off push to talk and just have it on constantly, i have heard 1 complaint telling me it's loud or irritating, but it was fine using push to talk . . .All in all i like it, it's cheap, not for professional use, but does have a professional look10/10 would recommend to budget minded gamers
