I use this for video, photography and "where's my stuff". It's always in my camera bag. It's strong enough to light a dark basement to help keep ISO down, adjusts in color to match ambient light and is great to augment bigger lights when you need a bit more light in a spot. I use it a lot for food photography on site in restaurants.

I absolutely LOVE these lights and use them in my workflow for astrophotography with couples. I have 3 and put them on stands and utilize them for rim lighting and side lighting. They give such a nice, soft, ambient glow and I love that I can customize not only how bright they are, but the temperature as well. They are incredibly versatile and well-made. They are also easy to use in the dark at night because of the LCD screen - you can see exactly what you’re doing without the need to turn on a headlamp. They work great on the stands but I can also place them on the ground and still angle them how I need because of the adjustable bracket (can fold it out to support the panel). Great value for the money! Neewer does it again! :)

Wow, just did not realise that this product would be so good, not only do you get a fantastic light source, but I did not realise you could connect it to your phone and have full control over its many features, it's very simple to connect to once you download the Neewer app and download the instruction book on to your phone, plus it's simple to use. You won't need to get up if you are shooting Macro near the ground to adjust the brightness, Hue, or Colour temperature making this unit very versatile, you may be paying a premium price but you are getting an awful lot for your money including the adjustable arm. very pleased.

The light works well...the phone app works decently..... BUT the Neewer Control Center is useless when it comes to this light. Their website says the SL90 is compatible with Neewer Control software, but it doesn't show up at all. I bought the Bluetooth adapter AND the 2.4 adapter...no luck and I've tried everything. There are other lights that show up in the Neewer Control Center for 2.4 connection, but this one needs to be added to the list. I want to use this with my Stream Deck. PLEASE FIX YOUR SOFTWARE, NEEWER!!

Ein sehr gutes RGB Licht. Ich habe das Licht mit dem PIXEL G1S in der Praxis verglichen, da dieses als Alternative zur verfügung stand. Das SL90 ist um einiges heller und durch den Standfuß zusätzlich beweglich. Die Akku ist hervorragend und hält locker 3 Stunden bei 100% Leistung. Eine klare Kaufempfehlung!

I purchased a pair of these for two reasons - to use them as a webcam light when I need to (shudder) be on-camera and to help my mirrorless camera focus in dark settings. For both of these, they are perfect. The built-in bracket allows me to hang the lights on the corner of my monitor, eliminating the need for tripods. I can also pair them to an app and adjust the settings while I'm on camera so I can see live how the changes work.The other use was to shed a little light on some dark areas when shooting indoor portraits. The Sony camera I use focuses with the aperture closed, so when shooting groups in a dark room at f5.6 or f8, it really struggles to focus. I put one of these on my light stand, and my focusing issues went away. With the light being to the side, the brightness also didn't bother the people I was taking photos of.Given that the light would be on constantly for ~1.5h, I thought I would need two lights. Surprisingly I was able to shoot two 1.5h sessions and the light still had well over 50% battery life remaining.The case is great, the app works as expected, the lights feel robust and not cheap, and all-in-all I can't find any reason to not wholeheartedly recommend these lights.

I used it for less than 10hours in total, always using good quality chargers, but the battery completely died. Have been trying different chargers for tons of hours but nothing.Totally disappointed. I would like to have a refund or replacement.I was happy with the product. Not anymore.

I wanted a non-corded option with more colors than the cheaper lights I have.The app works fine, the fact it also has buttons to switch through settings is great too, so it doesn't feel like it will turn into a very expensive paper weight if I can't use the app.Colors and brightness are good.The battery life impressed me. I don't use it a ton, but I have been running it on the same charge for like 6 months.
