  • Optimal Control: Use the Netafim PCJ for precise water application and reliable performance in various irrigation setups.

The 2 GPH Netafim PCJ Pressure-Compensating Dripper with a 1/8" barbed outlet is a high-flow emitter that supplies water to a single location. Typically, one or more emitters are used to irrigate a plant or tree. Typical uses for the 2 GPH Netafim emitter include the irrigation of orchards or vineyards. In container growing applications, the barb can be connected to a single Angle Barb Dripper through a length of Netafim Super Flex tubing. The barb connects directly to 1/8" tubing. Use nipple-outlet drippers to connect to manifolds or assemblies. The 01WPCJL8 delivers an 8 LPH (2 GPH) flow rate for input pressures ranging from 15 to 60 psi. The Netafim Woodpecker PCJ CNL emitter is the world's leading pressure-compensating dripper both in quality and number of installations. Its advanced PC design provides a uniform and accurate flow rate over a wide range of input pressures. A built-in check valve shuts off flow when pressure drops below a preset value, preventing lines from draining to their lowest point. Finally, the precision-molded flow channel is highly resistant to clogging. Use the Netafim PCJ when you need accurately controlled water application. Pressure-Compensated (PC) Drippers: If irrigation water pH is lower than 3.0 (as a result of punctual acid treatment injections): Do not irrigate for more than one hour consecutively. After each hour of irrigation, immediately flush the system with clean water (pH 5.5-7.5) free of chemicals until total evacuation of substances from it. If irrigation water pH is lower than 5.5: Do not inject any substance (fertilizers and/or disinfestation products) into the system. If irrigation water pH is higher than 5.5: It is allowed to inject substances (fertilizers and/or disinfestation products) into the system with strict attention that the pH remains between 5.5 and 8.0 at all times. Compensated Non-Leakage (CNL) Drippers: After each irrigation sequence, immediately flush the system with clean water (pH 5.5-7.5) free of chemicals until total evacuation of substances from it. It is recommended to open the ends of the dripperlines.

I have used Netafim's pressure regulators and they work great so thought I would try their emitters but did not have the same results. I installed about 90 out of the 100 pack and had about 15 total so far that are not dripping but more of a spraying pattern. When I cover the ends with my finger they will return back to dripping pattern but once I stop and restart the cycle they will do it again. I replaced some of them with the extra ones I had and some are working as they should but others not. At this point I can't trust what will happen as time goes on so I ordered a 100 pack of the Toro Turbo 2gph drip emitters and will replace if needed. Will not buy these type in the future and can't give a good recommendation based on the experience I have had with this pack of 100.
