The cover fits the top of the cage with a snug fit but the fact that it only has tie downs at the top corners and not the bottom corners is a downside of the product. Also, the material isn't thick in fact it's like a camping tent material.

I say it’s a good investment but nugget hates it she takes it off of the cage and puts it on the corner of the porch takes her blankets out of her dog cage and put the blankets on it then lays down landlord doesn’t want dogs inside so nugget is on the screened porch I thought this would help with the insulation of her crate she’s a long haired dog has a few blankets and this over the cage and I have cardboard around the side and back of the cage she takes the cardboard too nugget says she hates it all lmao

My dogs do not like their dog houses but love their crates inside the house. So I got the same size for outside and placed fleece blankets around them and added theses covers and they love to go in the crates. It has rained I simply wiped the water away. None got inside the crates. They are warm and comfortable. I highly recommend this cover. It zips to the bottom and has ties to keep the cover in place even with moderate wind. Alabama weather is hit today. Cold and rainy tomorrow.

This is a nice cover for the crate. Unfortunately, it was just a bit too big for my crate and became more awkward to use. It has zippers to open up the sides that can be rolled up so the puppy and see what's going on around him. But closed at night to hold in the warmth and hide distractions for sleep time. I opted for a blanket, which is definitely more difficult, but fits my specific crate better, and is thicker for more warmth.
