If I could give negative stars, I would. I installed this into my 2000 Honda Accord and as soon as I reconnected the battery, I turned on my car and it shot out big sparks, destroyed my battery and alternator. I'm never trusting Amazon for vehicle parts again. They should vet these sellers more closely.

Since installing the starter I have added about 1000 miles to the odometer without experiencing any issues.

The same part at Auto Zone was about $40 more and with Prime, it was delivered in two days, which was a Sunday.

Received on time, install was fairly easy, I recommend review of YouTube for install video. My install was for a 1999 Honda Accord ex-l v6 coupe. Product looks high quality and fit was perfect the only difference was the nut for the positive cable connect was 13mm instead of the factory 12mm. However nothing is stopping you from reusing the 12mm factory one either one works. when tighting the positive cable nut don't over tighten it or you will damage the starter. You only want it snug 1/2 turn after contact max. The two bolts that hold the starter motor to the engine block, the top one specs at 33 ft lb the bottom one which is a longer bolt specs at 47 ft pounds. Make sure you disconnect the ground cable from the battery before you begin, no exceptions. After install started car was perfect. Sounded right felt right just like new. Make sure you have a torque wrench to torque those bolts to the proper specs. Only question is longevity, time will tell but I have high confidence and a one year guarantee. Good price for the product and do it yourself free installation translates into big savings in the neighborhood of hundreds of dollars if you take it to a shop. Amazon is a six letter word for fun and savings. Shop Amazon because life is a jungle.

It was easy to order and delivery was quick. I had my new starter installed the day after the old one died. My only dislike is I didn’t get instructions for recycling the old starter.
