This is a very good valued product that is very easy to install. Make sure to shut off the power before starting to swap it out. Take one wire off at a time then put it on the new board. One at a time I’m very satisfied with this item and it works very well.

My pool is 4 years old. I was getting E06 error code. My Pentair Mastertemp control board LED showed FSF, so I had changed out my flue sensor, which admittedly was bad, and that had made it work for a month, but the code came back. So I watched more YT videos and someone said that a bad control board could also cause an E06 error. So I decided, what the heck, why not try it out.The lights on the buttons and the display are also different than the OEM Pentair board, but I don't care at all. They're green, not red. Fine by me!!! FYI !!I am giving this a 5-star review as this board revived my heater and I didn't have to pay $500+ for a service call, BUT BUT BUT the clasps for the ribbons cables are not exactly what I had on my 4+ year old board, so my ribbon cables are not secured to the board properly. I am using zip ties to secure the two bigger ribbon cables to the board. Other than that, all other cables and wires connect properly.

Worked ok for a month, now keeps throwing error codes or freezing up. Seller said to return it to amazon, but kinda hard to do since it would leave my heater open to the elements. Seller not helping. Go with a better option, otherwise you will be replacing it on a month.

After dealing with a few early part failures on my MasterTemp 400, including the ignitor, I was relieved to find this aftermarket control board as a replacement. OEM parts can be pricey, so this was a cost-effective solution that worked perfectly.Installation was straightforward, and the board fit my heater perfectly. It brought life back to my pool heater, and now it’s running like new. While there are some components I wouldn’t attempt to replace on a pool heater, the control board is manageable for a DIYer with basic experience. The quality seems excellent, with insulation and moisture resistance that give me confidence it will hold up over time. Overall, this is a reliable and budget-friendly alternative to OEM parts, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone needing to replace their MasterTemp or Sta-Rite heater control board.
