Assuming you get the right one, it fits and installs very easily. It is a bit time consuming due to all the screws and lining up, but it fits and makes the freezer seal like it was new again. The old seal either over-sealed and the whole freezer moved when you tried to open it, or let all kinds of air in and everything frosted over. The new seal fixed all of that. It is definitely thinner and not as 'heavy duty' as the OEM one, so I don't imagine it will last the 10 years the previous one did. It is also more expensive than I felt it should have been, which is why I gave it 4 stars. If it was this price, and the same quality as OEM, it would be 5 stars.

Freezer was frosting up due to bad seal. This fixed that. Highly recommended.

** Update ** seller reached out and made it right which says a lot about the seller.Replaced the seal less than a year ago and it's already leaking. For the price you think the product would last way longer.

Worked great. Laid it out on the floor and heated up any kinks in it with a hair dryer and molded it into place. Let it set for a bit then got to work. Undoing the billion screws and putting them back while maintaining alignment of the seal was tedious to say the least. It worked great and fit well though. Been on for two months at this point and has no leaks.Word of advice: work around removing and replacing 5-10 screws at a time. Overall pretty easy and basic installation.

I ordered this to replace a seal on a used Kenmore Elite freezer that had mildewed. I followed the instructions about leaving the seal in warm water for a bit, but still decided to try the hair dryer to get the spots out where it was folded. If you take your time it will come out flat again. Although I wouldn’t call it an “easy” install, it wasn’t too bad overall. Take your time and follow the advice of another poster and don’t take the screws completely out, it would be very difficult to get them all back in. Once installed it was just like new again.
