READ REVIEWS FIRST! 10 year old Kenmore model 350 softener tub filled overnight after Regeneration. Asked Google,took float apart & cleaned screen, no difference. Took apart Venturi valve & replaced bottom rubber gasket (3-pack on Amazon under $10 as no one sticks locally), no difference. Found slow water drip from exit side of softener at the connection to the bypass valve, may leak down into tank. Suspect o-ring failure but why? Found article that says might be o-ring or bypass valve. On Amazon found this bypass valve, read reviews & thankfully read to NOT try new o-rings, just replace bypass. Ordered this bypass valve plus a separate clip/o-ring kit. Upon arrival found bypass valve has all clips, o-rings & silicone included! Installed new bypass with o-rings & clips, regenerated... and it's FIXED! Returned Amazon extra clip/o-ring kit, saved $13. 😊 So...read reviews first, then rely on their experience! Glad I did.

Worthless. Tried three different ones and when u need to shut off valve for no water to softener it leaks. Tried replacing o rings as well. Nothing wrong with o rings and must be the white long part that has defects. Y water softener brand new!,, unconnected three times to try your parts nd leaked!,,,

The original part gaskets were worn out and this off brand bypass valve worked. I looked at getting the original OEM part and the website was asking way too much.
