What can I say no ice required and you are able to power this cooler many different ways!!! We took it on a 6 hour trip and had it plugged in my SUV didn't effect my vehicle at all and we were able to pack drinks, food and of course popsicles for the kids. You can power on a normal 12 volt plug in, a solar board, or plug into a converter and power it. We use for camping all the time less traffic in and out of my camper and we have nice cold drinks and the kids have popsicles on the other side, you can set the two sides to two different temperature controls for your needs. This is a game changer when it comes to coolers!!!

I honestly could not have found a better fridge/freezer cooler for a better price. It worked so well that the external battery I had, ended up shutting off after an hour of not having any power drawn. It didn't need any power because it was staying cool very well. The only problem I actually have is the size. I should not have bought one so big for the use that I need it for. I had planned to travel with it in my 4Runner, but it takes up way too much space. Now I'm hoping to sell it so I can buy the smaller version. I do recommend purchasing the battery to go in it. I will buy it for sure when I buy a new smaller unit. Be aware of the measurements of the area you hope to keep it.

Bought THIS one, because of the price and features - Using it, instead of cooler with ice… (closest ice, was 20 miles away, down narrow mountain roads!!!) Since it has Wheels, And internal Baskets, it is easy to move wherever needed - even when fully loaded… Where you can’t roll it, like in/out of the back of a truck - or up/down stairs, you just pull out the baskets of food and drinks , and make the move without having to lift a heavy cooler Full of food and drinks… Kept refrigerator side cold at 33 degrees, and freezer side at 20 degrees, running off of a Car battery - While on a week long camping trips… Awesome to own/Use…

I bought the 80qt version for car camping and short hikes to a walk-in campsite. Overall, this has been showing to be a good refrigerator. After buying an internal battery i found that it will keep my food cool at 40 degrees for about a day and a half on eco mode in about 75-degree F weather. I did buy a 100-watt solar to get some more run time out of this. It also has helped in a couple of power outages to keep my food from spoiling. Overall, I really like the design and concept of this.It was annoying to find a battery for this and i bought the Euhomy Car Refrigerator Battery on amazon and it works just fine.Cons: There are however a few problems with it. As the large retractable handle has been very durable the small handle is a horrible design and pops out regularly. This only gets used when i am unloading the cooler which is already heavy and full of food from the SUV to the ground. I cannot trust that handle. I ended up replacing it with something more secure that i made.On my first time use at a campground with family, the wheel fell off only pulling it for about a 100 ft. I am glad i found the nut for it but it was unreliable and failed on the first use. On the topic of the wheels, they are too small and not high enough to pull it on a normal beat down dirt trail or typical campground dirt road. The bottom drags. I am looking at adding my own axil and wheels to remedy this design flaw. There are many brands who use this design so i would hope they would look back and fix this in a V2.

The first one that I bought the temperatures would not adjust, like it was stuck. You could adjust the temperatures on the display but they stayed at 23 and 45 degrees. Regardless of what temperature you set them too.I called the customer services at NewAir, nice people, didn't have to wait long on hold. They proceeded to read me the exact manual instructions I was holding on how to change the temperature. I asked them if they knew any other tricks and they asked me to email their general customer service department to see if maybe someone else had an idea.I contacted Amazon (Saints by the way) and asked for an EXCHANGE. That's right, I was really stoked on this electric cooler, so I figured I'd just get another one because this had to be just a horrible fluke, bad luck, right? Right? WRONG!!!!The second New Air electric cooler arrives, I plug it in and adjust the temperatures and come back the following morning. The temperatures were close, like within 7-10 degrees of the temperatures selected, 5 degrees and 40 degrees. I came back that night and they were still about 7-10 degrees off. Look, I'm just using this as a refrigeration alternative to buying ice all the time when I camp. 7-10 degrees seems like pretty inaccurate but for me, I could live with that.THE PROBLEM was that when I unplugged the cooler, it turned off. What? The whole purpose of this cooler is to be mobile, as in you take it camping without electricity. If I wanted a plug in refrigerator this wouldn't be my first choice. But, that's what they sent me. A portable electric cooler that either couldn't hold a charge or was defective in that it would not turn on unless plugged in.I called New Air customer service, again, great friendly people, short wait time, but they read me the owners manual on how to hit the freaking power button. And then the 'master reset' instructions that I had also already tried a few times from the manual. Again, I was asked to email their customer service department.Don't bother calling their customer service department if you already read the manual, you are wasting your time.So I sent it back and got a refund. Amazon was amazing, so if you want to take a chance, you know they have your back.
