These batteries are the same as the OG batteries for this camera. Life is about 300 or so pictures or 4 hours per one. Quality is good for the battery, but charging block seems cheap. But over all good for the amount you pay for.

The charger worked but the batteries were bad. Batteries lasted about 20 minutes before needed to be recharged. I guess that’s why they came with 2 batteries. Returned it and was refunded accordingly.

This is the fourth manufacturer of chargers for this type of battery I have tried. The others are terrible compared to this one. This one is so much better than the others. The others use battery contacts that are little cylindrical 3-part spring loaded pins. But the problem with those is that over time, the little pins don't contact like they did the first few times. They get worn or dirty and have electrical resistance. This resistance keeps the charger from properly charging the batteries. This one uses a single springy contact, which has none of the aforesaid issues. It has worked wonderfully.

This charger is awesome and the only 2-bay charger of its kind. It's small, compact, charges very well, and allows me to do videography all day long, with extra batteries always at the ready. Batteries fit snugly into each bay, and after they are charged, you can unplug the charger, and leave the batteries in place, and they won't discharge while sitting in the unpowered charger. And because it uses USB, there is always a charger handy, either with a battery bank, or a wall charger. So what's not to like? Well, the quality. I found a critical design flaw in its construction, which pretty much guarantees it will quickly fail. The issue is how the USB connector is attached and mounted, and it's too weak to survive normal use before breaking off.In the picture, you can easily see the problem: the connector is only soldered onto the circuit board, but is not anchored in place. It is held on with only the copper trace on a single-sided circuit board. The copper 'trace' can be seen as those lines in a different shade of green on the board. Underneath the green protective layer is a thin strip of copper, attached to the board with some weak adhesive. The USB connector is attached to the trace with solder, which is strong, but the copper trace is only weakly attached to the board, and provides no mechanical strength. The USB connector should be attached to the board with those two legs you see on the underside of the connector, which should go through the board and be soldered on the back. A double-sided circuit board will have plated-through holes, which are mechanically strong, but a single-sided board doesn't have plated through holes. To attach the connector to such a board, you can bend or twist the pins on the other side of the board, or use a stronger adhesive, such as encasing the whole thing in epoxy glue. The reason it's done this way: it's cheaper. Double-sided boards cost more. Bending pins costs more. Epoxy costs more. This item is inexpensive, it makes sense overall. But in this case, the savings are not worth it, because already two of them have broken on me, both about 1 to 1.5 years apart. A product like this could easily last a lifetime if this design flaw didn't exist.I had another single-bay charger like this, made by AOProda, which failed in exactly the same way. Look for my review of that product for a similar outcome and descriptions. In spite of all this, I bought a third one, because nobody makes a 2-bay charger, which is hugely convenient, and works great. But, now once every 1-2 years, I'd be expecting to replace it, again. Or should I? One way to fix this myself is to open the case, pour epoxy over the entire board, and put it back together, then it will be bomb-proof.But Amazon, awesome as always, made me whole so lets just say that i'm hopeful these products will improve soon, after getting some constructive feedback. Good luck to all.

Very good value - 2 batteries, a 2 battery charger & USB cable at a low cost. Both new batteries charged in about 90 minutes and worked well in the camera. I also put my old batteries in the charger and even the one that had not been taking a charge worked after getting the green light on this charger.the charger is thin so it will pack well and will combine with other USB power needs.
