This product works great. I am pleasantly surprised by the amount of air each air line puts out. My pond is 3' deep and both lines put our more air than I was expecting running one air stone on each line. You can run two stones off each line, although I only run one stone each line right now. And if you don't want as much air you can run it on low. Have to say I run it 24 hours on high. I was thinking in the morning there would be no battery left but I was pleasantly surprised that even after running on high all night it still has half charge in the morning before the sun hits the solar panel to recharge it back to full.I have to give a shout out to the seller Rongx. I had a small issue which resulted in a part replacement but they took care of me right away. They were very helpful trying to trouble shoot the minor issue but in the end they quickly sent me a part and it works great again. My expensive Koi and I are so happy they took care of us so fast. Great customer service so shout out to this seller!!!

I use this for my natural swim pond and it worked well... For a month. The lights are green and it's getting solar power, the problem is with the pump itself, it turns off all the time under full sun. When I cycle the power (and sometimes unplug it) the unit starts back up but the power is weak. Look for a better product from Solar River.

I installed it without needing any instructions, it's plug and play literally. I kept the solar panel next to the pond (need to find a way to organize my solar panels for this aerator and two solar pond lights so they look cohesive), plugged in both tubes and added 2 rocks to each tube and submerged one to the left (deep) and one to the right (shallow). Amazed at how well it worked, got a few hours of sun then it started raining around noon. It is working (cycle mode) flawlessly. After reading some reviews, I did get the 2 year warranty just in case, but it works so well I really want it to keep working for my koi pond.Solar panel is simple and flat so you can keep it on any flat surface really, unless you need to mount it, in which case also no instructions required, lot of hardware is included for those who need it.One issue I noticed with my configuration is that I put the T joints to add two rocks to one tube, I only notice bubbles coming out of one rock each, whichever one is closer to the surface. Knowing the nature of air, it makes sense, so I'll try and play with that but honestly I don't think I need two rocks, one blows enough oxygen for what I need.Really amazing product, good research on the battery, makes a HUGE difference as it can work day and night and can go for 100+ hours on cycle mode. Truly impressed.I chose cycle mode because my pond has plants, waterfall and the whole nine yards so I just need something that adds to the setup, not fully dependent on this, still since it can last longest on cycle mode, it makes sense to use that so there is oxygen for longest time.Highly highly recommend it.

The pump is very quiet and very strong and battery capacity coupled solar panel a real winner,The seller has coupled this outstanding pump with a ok solar panel that lacks even the most simple hardware to install. There is ZERO workable hardware supplied to support the panel. What is supplied just added weight to the package and the seller was at a loss for words how it could be possibly used. Lastly on a technical basis the seller also could not answer the simplest question regarding. If the pump also contained an additional battery. The answer must be yes as the solar panel battery will on run the pump a few minutes. However the panel feeds both batteries apparently. This means using the solar panel to be charged in the sun by itself and then plugging it in to the pump and expect it to run will not work. My pond is in the shade all day, hence I was hoping to charge panel by itself and then use it the next day in the morning without running extension cords 50 feet. A simple reply from the seller would have saved me lots of time, but none came, If you can find this pump by ROHS and a matching solar panel from a different seller, go for it!

What a terrific concept for me to use with my pond. Here in sunny Florida, no trees around my pond, algal bloom took over. Was so worried about oxygen depletion by the algae, even though I am working to clear the pond. I have a dozen precious fish-pets in there! So I hooked this thing up, it cost me an arm and a leg, attached it to my nearby greenhouse frame ( another five-star review here for that item, somewhere else) and secured it with zip ties and special bungee cords, and whallah!!!It is pumping out boss amount of air!!! It has a panel big enough to store some power for overnight, and it keeps the air going all night long that way! Now, the instructions aren't the best, at best a cartoon, after you figure out which one is your model...sort of.Assembling was easy and the resulting added oxygen, along with cleaning my filters and pumps once a week, and using barley products(barley absorbs the algae suspended in the water. You can find and buy barley pond products here on amazon, and at the best prices. The neat part is when it has absorbed the algae to its limit, my fish gobble it up.)Give it time, algael blooms do not clear up overnight, but at least my babies won't be choked out of existence now.I also have an outdoor electric air pump working hard. With the present heat wave, you can't slack on making sure your pond gets aerated good. Next project: to build a shadescreen over pond.
