NICHE CIRCLIP
Circlips (commonly referred to as retainer rings) are small, partially flexible metal rings. They are a type of fastener used for one of two reasons. The first being to hold wristpins fixed in place, most commonly associated with use in engine motors, turbines, and pumps. The second being to connect the axle shaft to the vehicle axle while maintaining a certain range of motion.
Types of Circlips:
- External Circlip - Designed to fit around shaft.
- E-Type Circlips - Same as internal without grip holes.
- Internal Circlip - Most common circlip. Holds wristpins in place.
- Snap Rings - Circlips that require the aid of special pliers for installation and removal.

Do NOT buy this if you are looking for a bearing carrier for an 85-86 ATC250R. It does NOT fit even though the description says it does. The housing is much bigger than factory.

I gave it four stars because it's a really well made part but the wholes for adjusting are to soft and the tool they give you is too small so it just shreds the adjustment holes

Carrier housing, seals, and bearings appears to be manufactured of good quality. With good prep work on the swing arm and axle, installation was a breeze. The kit includes the necessary tool to tension the chain and also comes with a new snap ring, which is convenient.

Better quality than the factory Honda carrier; also the grease fitting to grease the inner parts was awesome versus doing it by hand. Having the bearings and seals already assembled from the factory is also a plus. The snap ring is also heavier duty than the factory Honda snap ring. I used Lucas Red 'N' Tacky grease in mine, would recommend a high end grease as this part is subject to a lot of abuse during riding. I also bought a Niche brand extended axle that fit perfectly (same fitment as the factory axle, just different material and wider).

I'll start off by saying i do not work for Niche or have any affiliations with Niche or anyone in the company other than a buyer. Got this in the mail recently and very happy with it. Quality nicely cut machined forger bearing carrier with double dual row bearings. Quality bearings and seals. Obviously manufactured in a third world country which reflects on the low price. No complaints, nice quality, solid built piece. Im happy i bought it and didn't spend hundreds on a more common brand. Cant go wrong with it. Straight up honest review.
