Brake Pad Type Comparison
Organic
Organic Pads are composed of various fibers mixed with binding resins to hold them together. Some common materials used in organic brake pads include glass, fiber, rubber, carbon and Kevlar.
Semi Metallic
Semi Metallic Pads are the most versatile style available, with the slight compromise being more noise and dust. They are also longer lasting and more durable, and their metallic composition can help draw heat away from the rotor and aid in more efficient brake cooling.
Ceramic
Ceramic Pads are composed of a dense ceramic material with embedded copper fibers. In use since the 1980s, ceramic pads were developed as an alternative replacement for organic and semi-metallic brake pads. Ceramic pads are generally easier on rotors than semi-metallic pads.

I ordered a set of front and rear brake pads for my Vulcan 900 Classic LT as I was getting tires put on and the wheels would be off the bike.... Good time to change pads. My bike mechanic said the pads had alot of life left in them and the ones I had wouldnt fit anyhow...O.K. so I returned the pads on Amazon, got a refund from the seller and was told "just keep the pads"Three days later, Bang Boom I recieved a new set of pads that are right for my bike today in the mail.Thank you D2MOTO for your kindness and super service!!!

Advertised to fit my motorcycle. They do NOT fit a 2012 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom. Talked to the seller. They sent me the same pads! I wrote them again trying to explain that the pads they sent me are wrong.... this time they blew me off.
